I wore the boots around my place for about 10 minutes. It felt like walking on a cushion of clouds. I would say ordering a half size up is the way to go. It's not good to get that just right fit in a hiking/combat boot. You need a little wiggle room for foot expansion and thick socks. Belleville steel toe I am 11.5 and these are size 12. At first I thought they were too big but then I tightened up the laces as you are suppose to do with military boots and they fit like a dream.

Only wish is that Nike made sizes in wide also.

After a month of wearing them, how do you feel about the field 2 compared to the Gen 2?

Kyle H I think the Field 2 is a better duty boot than the Gen 2.

Hey great vid! Do you wear normal Nike shoes and if yes which size you normally wearing? Because i have struggles with finding the right size always. But with Nike shoes I can always go with a 10. Would you recommend a size 10,5 or 11?

It really depends but for me I always get an 11.5 in a gym/running shoe. Air Jordan size 11.

I were a size 10 in nike but in combat boots I usually wear 9.5 and I just got the 10 and it fits me perfectly

@@mackmccord3743 yes the 10 in the boot fits right I have tried the 9.5 and it's too small for my foot like I said I were size 10 in nike shoes and usually 9.5 in combat boots because I like a sung fit but the Nike field boots 2 size 10 is a little loose if that helps

I don't quite get where these boots sit within the line or what they replace/upgrade. There was basically the first/original SFB special fields right, with the metal eyelets. Then the SFB field (would these be considered Gen1's?) very similar in design, still metal eyelets, but with some changes, such as the fast roping grips on the sole. Then the SFB gen 2, which have a pretty much totally different design. Are these meant to be an upgrade to the the SFB fields ? or an upgrade of the SFB Gen2 ? It seems they are the next step up from the SFB fields but I assumed thats what the Gen 2's were meant to be so are these field 2's basically just their own totally new design ? instead of being an upgrade from a previous design and whats the point of making both the Gen2 and the field2 ? whats the differences/purpose ?

In other words, to put it alittle more simply... If these are the Field 2's then which are the Field 1's ? And if the Gen 2's are a newer 2nd gen, which boots are the Gen 1's ? I currently have the SFB field boots (field 1's ? Gen 1s? Lol) and the Gen 2 boots and I'm basically just trying to figure out what these field 2s are all about and if I would want to potentially purchase them in into future if I saw them for a good price. I'm just kinda confused by their existence if the Gen 2s exist and wonder if there's any difference other than visuals.

Would you say these boots would be good for wet/snowy conditions? Not anything too extreme though.

Hyotenka424 I normally would not recommend suede leather for snow and rain. I would buy the black leather ones for that.

Michael Skaggs you won’t regret the Field 2 especially if it’s a duty boot you are wearing it for.

Jaypaul Woody okay, thanks for the insight. Duty is precisely what I am wanting them for. I've been on the under armour valsetz and the valsetz rts for years. Always loved the more professional look of the sfbs but not the price. But I said oh well, I'm splurging this time. If they last a year, good enough for me. That is about what I get out of the UAs before they fall apart

I m a police officer and ordered these in black .After 15 minutes of wearing them I can confirm that they are the worst boots I have ever had. It s disappointing because they look so awesome. They have absolutely no support and the back of the boot is painful. It rubs all the time and after 15 minutes I could feel blisters coming. I normally love Nike products. I so wanted to like them but it s impossible. Can’t believe some people actually wear them. And they are expensive... ouf , really disappointed 😔

Alexandre Asselin other users had troubles with running behind their ankles. Their solutions were to put a heel insert to raise your foot slightly.
