ive been able to avoid the vomero 5 bug up until this point but i really like this cw and maybe have to get a pair when they release in the uk. the colours work so well on this silhouette, hard to ignore.

After months and months of waiting, I finally caught on a pair that dropped below retail on GOAT earlier this morning, though it's a half size down. But hopefully, it won't be a problem that'll end up hurting my toes. Quickly pulled the trigger, and now, can't wait to get them on hand. I'm always a sucker for GITD shoes!

Great review! I think that for size recommendation saying that we should go for what we normally wear on Vomero 5 is not that useful... becuase maybe this would be our first Vomero 5 😅 you should say the size on more popular sneakers like Air Force 1, Jordans, etc.

Weirdly enough these don’t seem to be releasing in the eu as of now. Great pair tho but I’m waiting for the blue tint chrome color way to release too… but haven’t seen anything announced yet

Ima be honest, I like the blue gitd but the colorway is kind of scattered and doesn’t mesh well. The colors themselves work together just not where they were placed. Also I’ve always heard how comfortable they were and I grabbed the doernbecher vomeros and they’re not as comfortable as 990s imo. Great review tho.

The insole includes Korean '심', which is a part of '여성안심 귀갓길', and that means 'Women's Safe Walkway'. So it actually does not represent Seoul, in my opinion. It would have been much easier to recognize Seoul if any of the NamSan Tower, Bukchon Hanok Village Alley, or Gyeongbokgung Palace was shown in the insole.

Great classic runner, but massively OP. Should not cost $180. Maybe $140 at most.
