Shri Nikhil Bannerji was a genius of a sitarist in his own way. I belong to the times / generation when we had the opportunity to hear Pandit Ravi Shankar, ustaad Bilayat Khan and Shri Bannerji in our city. Hearing ustaad Keramatulla Khan in the sangat spells magic. Marvelous upload Thanks for sharing.

Pt Nikhil Banerjee never after cheap public applause at the cost of the spirit of the classical music of instrument of Sitar, which had always made the difference between his unique style of his playing the instrument ,sincerely, than those of the other two renowned players as mentioned by Ms Krishna Debi.
