Hi guys! Thank you so much for being here 🥰
Today I'm working on a two 13'' wood rounds and a 10 x 12'' canvas. I wanted to try the simplistic bloom that I did in my last video.
I loved how the first one turned out, not so much the second two but thought I'd still show you the process so you can see where I went wrong lol! We all need to see some failures too!
Base:
British Paints mistint in a pale grey, nothing added I used straight out of the tin.
Colours:
Atelier Cobalt Turquoise
Byron Fluorescent Purple
Decoart Metallics in 24k Gold
Matisse Red Violet
Matisse Southern Ocean Blue
#TLP Twinkle (Interference pigment)
#TLP Asparagus
TLP (This Little Piggy) pigments can be purchased from fluid-art.co/
All colours and pigments are mixed with untinted house paint and Jo Sonja varnish.
Please see video #92 for how I mix my colours (both pigments and tubes).
• (92) How I Mix My Pain...
Cell Activator/CA: Atelier Interactive Blue Black mixed with Aussie Floetrol (in first video). I never measure ratios, I mix until it leaves a slight trace when drizzled from around and inch above the surface. In second and third videos I use two CA's; the same Blue Black and also Atelier Pale Gold (mixed the same).
My hairdryer was bought from Kogan and the brand is Estelle, I used cool setting, low fan www.kogan.com/au/buy/estelle-...

Please try and watch the entire video, I try and always keep my videos under 20 minutes. I have a tip jar, it's definitely not expected, but if you'd like to tip any small amount would be greatly appreciated and will go towards buying more paint supplies. Thanks in advance it's: paypal.me/Nikidfluidart
My lazy susan is glass and 20'' which was purchased from Coles supermarket, they can also be sourced from variety/dollar stores. The heavier the spinner, the easier it will spin, I'd also suggest you get the largest one you can so you can easily use it for larger substrates too.
My metal spatulas are artist pallet knives, they can be purchased from fluid-art.co/ or independent art stores.
