I’m finally happy with myself, come to realize it wasn’t the weight at all I was unhappy with, but anyway , I’ve gotten on some great skincare routines, but still learning , but still look ten yrs young in just 2 months!!! Anyway I finally did my makeup Friday the “right way” and omg I did not even recognized myself!!!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!

@@hye7777 yup it sucks so bad. I guess it's a mindset. I've tried throughout the years but I've never lost a huge amount. I guess you have to want it bad enough and not give up. I just want to have more energy and not have to worry about fitting into clothes or having back pain. I feel like I let my whole identity of being fat rule my life and all my decisions.I'm so tired of this being my story I tell to myself.
@hye7777
@hye7777 Жыл бұрын
@@theresag.4188 I was able to successfully lose 120 lb about 10 years ago. It stayed off for 3 years and then I went through some traumatic experiences and gained it all back plus more. It's definitely possible but believe me when I tell you it's not about the food and it's not about lack of exercise. It's about what's going on internally within you. Your subconscious mind, your thoughts and how you feel about yourself and how you speak to yourself and what you believe to be the truth about yourself, your emotions and how you cope with your emotions. It's all of that tied into one. Weight loss is very complex. It's not as simple as just counting calories and exercising. But if you do the work, and if I do the work, we can make it happen. This time, I want to do it with Jesus and not on my own. Jesus is the one who can heal us permanently 🙏

So many KZfaqrs don't bother tying their hair back or using a hair band when they do their make-up. The brushes get caught in their hair, they're constantly tucking it behind their ears or flicking it out of the way. So they many look a bit of a div while they're applying their make-up (my BFF has hysterics when I wear my rams ears hairband) but there'd be more of an impact to the finished look ...ok, rant over 😄.

I noticed that if I used the sponge my make up looks so cakey and pores soooo huge and textured sling and if I use a brush and tap it looks AMAZING i guess it depends on what it works for everybody . Also I use everything in cream and not powders like blus highlighter etc so my skin kind absorbes it and if I use anything powder it looks soooo bad /cakey even when the fancy Laura mercier products .

Subscribed 😊 this is the first video of yours I've seen but I love how you addressed something that I rarely see addressed, and never have seen explained so well and simply! Thank you, thank you, thank you! I've been needing a video like this for years and I had no idea! Question: have you ever tried a silicone makeup sponge? I'd love to hear what your take is on them. I have the kind if sponge you recommended and have been using that type for quite some time, but I just ordered a silicone one the other day to see what it's like. Reason being I'm a bit of a germaphobe and I hate having to constantly wash my sponges only to have them not get all the way clean and the texture gets rougher and I and up replacing them quite often. The silicone sponge appealed to me because first of all, it doesn't absorb your foundation so that you end up using alot less than with a normal sponge that it soaks into, plus they are super durable and easy to clean. I don't have any experience with them as of yet, this is just what I gave heard. If you have an opinion on them I'd love to hear it! Thanks again!

I know this a very old comment but... Everyone has texture! Your skin is textured and has hair follicles, pores, lines, bumps, breakouts, oil glands and so on! You aren't ever going to cover it so it's absolutely smooth! The more you work your foundation into the skin, the nicer it looks! I use a brush to pat into my skin and a fluffier brush to buff it out!

Was that a new "ring" on your finger girlfriend? I hope that means good news. Do you think there is a foundation out there that's better for "older" gals like myself? Full coverage I do need. Also the beauty blender. Does it have to be the true beauty blender at $22.00 or will another do. Thank you, I'm a big fan. You put a smile on my face while I just had some back surgery :-)

I know this is an old comment but I recently discovered the Sonia Kashuk beauty sponge for $7 and it's HUGE and soft and amazing! And it's black and white marble colored so it's seriously adorable.

Thank you so much for creating this series especially this video and the ones on creasing and patchy foundation I have very dry and very sensitive and irritable skin ( I now finally found a skin care rutine with products I love that is helping ) and I fammy realized the way I was using powder was causing a lot of these exact issues with my foundation and as a very dry skin girl once I realized the problem was the way I was using my powder ( less is more for me ) and how is was or wasn’t prepping my skin properly everything my makeup is now staying so much smoother thank you

Can you make a video about red lipstick on fair skin? I love a good red lip but I feel like it makes my face somehow look harsh...? Anyone? Just me?
@glowingxlights9652

If you have fair complexion with pink undertone, it's best to stick with lipsticks with blue undertones so for example, ABH American Doll, Mac Ruby woo. If you have fair-light complexion with warm undertone it's best to stick with orange-redish undertone shades like, Mac's Russian Doll, Mac's Chilli, and 22 by Kylie Cosmetic.

I had the same problem but like GlowingxLights said, you have to find the right one for your skin tone. Blake’s Red (Rimmel) works amazing for me. I have cool undertones.

The beauty blender worked great for my the first time I used one. I must have just had a good skin day or something. My pores are so huge and I also have all these dry areas that seem to be oily at the same time. I dont mean i have dry areas with an oily t zone. I literally have dry flaky skin that is effin oily! Anyway no brush or applicator works for my foundation application anymore! These girls make make up look so easy.

Wow!!!!! Just what I needed to know. I am struggling with rough textured skin as I’m over 50 and have not taken the best care of my skin the last 10 Years. I am using a three month retinol treatment now to get rid of the buildup of rough skin. I’m using Josie Maran Milk as my moisturizer and getting great results but after I apply makeup I can see every little flaw. Especially after I apply my setting powder. I have setting spray but had no idea how to use it. Thanks for sharing this information!
