The director came out and said the original ending was supposed to be Laurie calling Karen’s cell phone and hearing micheals breathing knowing he killed Karen. Then the shot of her walking through the hospital like we’ve seen in the trailers was supposed to be the end. But they said it will be four years later so Laurie can heal.

Imagine if Negan had gone on a killing spree after escaping his cell in Alexandria, and Maggie found out all her friends and family were killed…the sheer anger and torture she would be going through as she hunted Negan…THAT is what Tommy and the residents are like that! Nikki and Steve let me know what you think of my theory. I'd like to hear your opinion on it. Yeah I noticed the whole Season Of The Witch easter egg more than once. I also noticed things like Michael's mask being significant to him and the was John Carpenter shot a scene in the original Halloween with the camera in the mask so that we the audience could get a feeling of being Michael wearing the Mask. Also that Karen used the mask against Michael to lure him into a trap with the towns people surrounding him. And how Michael did not respond to the reporters questions in the first movie 2018 until the reporter took out the mask to taunt Michael to get a reaction and when he did Michael turned slightly and the other patients started going nuts. Those things were put in the movies for a reason. I think that in Halloween Ends the director will explore a bit on the concepts of Season Of The Witch and on the Mask holding some sort or power for Michael. Possibly when he wears it the darkness takes full control making it harder to kill him. We can also expect that in the final film both Laurie and Allyson will do some digging on Michael and his origins and looking over Dr. Loomis's notes. They will find a lot that can possible help to finally kill Michael. Also the director said that there will be a plot twist in the end of Halloween Ends. I did notice that in both movies so far they made it a point to say that Laurie is not Michael's sister, something that was unnecessary since we all know that these movies canceled out all the other sequels after the original so why throw that in there unless there might be some truth in the last movie of this series. Like out of all of Michaels surviving victim why is Laurie the only one wanting to fight him and take him out? It was already said that Michael wasn't after her now and that it wasn't about Laurie. But she seems to have some sort of connection to him it seems. Like Karen looking up at the window and seeing a vision of young Michael through the window and Allyson after stabbing Michael with his knife trying to get him to let go of Karen when he tried to pull her down that basement then holding on to that knife all the way up until the second movie then giving it to Laurie just in case Michael shows up at the hospital. Karen being killed the same way Judith Myers was killed in the first Movie. I think that in the last movie the plot twist maybe that Laurie and Allyson find out that Laurie is related to Michael after all.

Loving the movie reactions guys!! I know a lot of people dislike how cheesy this movie is and how idiotic the characters are but I actually found it kind of charming. It feels like a good old-fashioned slasher and Michael was genuinely intimidating.
