David Dastmalchian, the actor who played Polka Dot Man, adopted a stray cat he befriended while on location. He named her Bubblegum and the costume designer even made her her own polka dot costume.

Fun fact: the bird that Savant killed in the beginning was a yellow canary. In the comics, Savant kidnapped Black Canary, and then the Birds of Prey rescued her and took him in :)

Overall good reaction, but Im little hurt she didn't got the genius of Cena's character. He actually did fantastic job here. His character supposed be a Man-child, a douchebag Captain America, and he pulled it perfectly.

My biggest gripe about this movie is that by about halfway through I passionately wanted a spinoff TV show featuring Polka Dot Man and Ratcatcher 2, but then the final act killed off Polka Dot Man and made it glaringly obvious the climax was written to set up a spinoff TV show featuring John Cena.

I mean 90% of the reactors I've seen pretty much reacted to 90% of the movie with minimal cuts. Probably better to just mute the sound over cutting an entire scene.

Polka Dot Man and the thing they did with him visualizing everyone as his mom was hilarious. Of all the characters who died he ranks second behind Rick Flagg in terms of disappointment over them not surviving.

I really loved how insane the movie got at times. Everything what what real life comic book would look and feel like. Going from many different tones and style, whether if it's light and cute to dark and brooding. Having Starro and the more vibrant costumes showed the filmmakers wasn't actually embarrassed of making a comic book movie and fully embraced it. The exact opposite of the first movie. Which I'm sure threw some people off. Nobody knew how to feel about the movie, they didn't know if they should laugh, cry, or feel uncomfortable. But that's the sign if a good movie, feeling all different kinds of emotions you never felt before watching.

This movie was so much fun. Loved watching you both enjoy the madness lol. John Cena was hilarious. He was meant for that role. You need to go watch the Peacemaker series, so far it’s incredible. I hope James Gunn makes more movies like this. Great reaction you two. Keep them coming

In this movie compared to the previous one, the characters are more likable, deeper, more interesting and have more heart. We know more about each one of them and all of them feel more powerful. In the original movie I always felt like Harley Quinn shouldn't be there, she felt like some woman with a bat and that's all. The same with Boomerang. Now both of them feel like a real threat. I love Will Smith but I seriously think Idris Elba has a more interesting and flawed character to work with (and he is an amazing actor anyway), and John Cena... I never saw him as a real actor until now. Now I think he is more talented than the Rock. Yeah, the Rock has huge charisma but John Cena has the talent, or so I thought after watching this movie. Overall, an amazing movie, incredible James Gunn, very on point with most of the jokes (most of them), but this movie is not for everybody. And that's not bad, there are a lot of movies for everyone to choose.

I HATED the first suicide squad and came into this one with pretty low expectations...ended up enjoying it and laughing my ass off the whole time, was a nice surprise. Glad you guys enjoyed it too, seem to feel the same way as well.

When they said Peacemaker was going to be "a douchebag Captain America," apparently the 4chan crowd thought it would be a _positive_ portrayal. Now they're _maaaad._ (Harley's "red flag > murder him" speech probably pushed their buttons too.)

I don't get your problem with John Cena. He was great in this. Then, I don't have a perceived notion of him, from his wrestling days. All I know about him is that almost everyone needs to do the same dumb jokes about him every damn time, like the steam didn't run out of those ten years back.
