Best Niko Birthday Day Ever 1122
It's Niko's Second Birthday!! We have a tradition in our family when its one of the kiddos birthdays we rush into their room in the morning and dump balloons on them. So Jenny and Adley have been in charge of getting that all ready this while I play hide n seek with Niko's presents putting them places just easy enough a 2 year old can find them! Before he wakes up, we need to get his birthday cake all ready. Niko's party was going to be a shark theme beach birthday but it raining today, but that doesn't mean we can't have a baby shark themed still. We decorate the cake and Adley, not even trolling, comes up with 2 unique cake decorating techniques.
We check the cameras and Niko Bear is awake!! Keeping with our birthday routine we run in and wish him happy birthday. He loves the balloon's and when we tell him we have presents, he is so excited. He gets a new ball from Adley to add to our ball pit a new book to read before we go to bed. but the best gift was a new car toy set that you build the track and and it glows in the dark!! Niko loves going vroom vroom with his cars, but these ones drive themselves and he thinks its amazing! The entire family loves playing with it. We build bridges and loops, Adley and Niko try and drive the cars down the stairs. Jenny and I really want to see what it looks like in the dark, so we take the racetrack up stairs and close the blinds and its like a light show in here. It's really cool.
Niko's second big gift was a lawn mower the blows bubbles while you walk. The rain stopped, so we decide to go for a family walk and Niko loves his new lawn mower. He stops every time shoots bubbles so he can chase them down an pop them. At this point we are all hungry, so we head back to the house to make some blue pancake art shark pancakes and eat cake.
We play a game of pin the mouth on the shark, it's like pin the tail on the donkey but better. This also our first time not having a big family party for one of our kids birthday's, so we face time Mine and Jenny's families so they can all see Niko and wish him happy birthday. While we miss everyone, it is kinda nice having it just our family.
We clean up and head jump into our bed so we can cuddle as a family and watch Niko's First birthday vlog and see how much he's changed! we include it after this, but if you want to give it a watch you can go here.
