Hydrogen fuel cells generate the electricity. No battery. They can refuel with hydrogen much faster than recharging a battery and it's much lighter.

It's still an electric truck. The fuel cell makes electricity which powers the motors. There is no combustion engine

The motor is electric, but no battery. Similar to how trains are diesel electric. There is a diesel generator. This uses hydrogen instead of diesel.

West Group Logistics is a division of TTSI which has an LOI for 70 FCEVs. I think they are all going to be used in relation to the LA ports.

Whats is LOI? The nikola Trucks are All leased. The General concepti seems to be nice. Some back calls from NHTSA issues some Details cabines. The seat belts. Maybe the cooler liquid of the battery or the Electric motor

@@omerg3626 LOI is letter of intent. Says you intend to buy them at some point in the future. I think it is for marketing purposes of the seller. Nikola does not lease the Tre BEV.

Large industrial applications will have to adapt hydrogen. Batteries are not practical for planes & container ships.

I've seen 4 tesla electric trucks on the road. They where all on low boy trailers being hauled by diesel trucks. Yep clean energy vehicles right there.

The Nikola Tre BEV weighs 29,300 or 29,500 pounds. This is the FCEV which is supposed to weigh between a diesel and a BEV.
