This might sound crazy... but he's actually a bit out of shape rn. Look at his footage now compared to his playoff run, and you can see he's a little heavier at the moment. Once he gets back to peak fitness, it will be bad for the rest of the league

If Larry Bird was 6'11, 275 lbs and played in 2024, he might be really similar to Jokic. Both can scare in the post, both can score at range, both can pass, both can box out and rebound. Very complete skill sets on those two.

Oh trust me, they're trying. It's nearly impossible to hold together a high-level defense against modern day offenses. Especially when you've got a player like Jokic running the offense, trying to put up any resistance at all becomes a genuine struggle. All you can do is try to reduce free buckets.
