I agree as a 35 year basketball fanatic who only watches ball year round. He a has a feel for the game, hands and touch that nobody has ever exceeded in the history of the sport. This playoff run he just had, for me, is easily number 1 all-time by production, especially considering he had a team of no other all-stars, no all-defense selections, no overly notable players - WHILE ALSO beating the most career all-star selections and all-defensive team selections en route to a ring ever. Murray is solid but before these playoffs nobody would even put him as a top 10 guard in the league. Joker and especially this run is getting nowhere near the love it should be getting. For reference, hes the same age as Bron (and MJ actually) when he got his first ring, but Jokic didn't have to run to a team of all-timers and a historically stacked team to get it done. What will never be recognized is how elite his DEFENSE was these playoffs as well. I could do a write-up on that as well but he was also a top-5 to 10 defender these playoffs on top of being universes ahead of anyone on the offensive end. He has the potential to end as a top 5 player ever, especially if he can keep this production up for another few years, but he'll never be recognized as that.

Jokic delivered the best offensive performance in the play-offs we have seen. The numbers don't lie. And to claim that anyone would average 40s today is just stupid hyperbole. Watch Jokic, as soon as the ball is turned over he is RUNNING down the court asap. He’s worked tremendously on his fat and conditioning levels and now he is the MVP and Finals MVP.

If Jokic, as is rumored, doesn't attempt get into shape until two weeks before the season, that shows a lack of a work ethic. GOAT type players add something to their game each off season.
