Nikola Jokic's BEHIND the BACK pass made Brunson and Hart arguing about their defense..

Nikola Jokic, two-time NBA MVP, is one of the toughest players to guard in the league. Even when a defender player thinks he's done everything to stop Jokic , he throws one of his impossible assists to his teammates and make an opet shot for them. In the Denver Nuggets x New York Knicks game that was played a few nights ago Nikola Jokic had one of the better assists this season when he passed the ball to Aaron Agordon without looking. Everyone who watched that match was shocked how Jokic made this assist, and how he managed to read where his teammate would be. In one episode of their podcast Jalen Brunson and Josh Hart discussed this situation and put the blame on each other. Hart admitted that Jokic baited him with one look and in the next moment the ball was in the hands of Aaron Gordon.

@@Nyjeezy It might seem that way, but when you're on the court, it's a whole lot harder to make those kinds of calculated decisions and reads. That's why Jokic is so special, he seems to be just as comfortable thinking on the court as your average smart player feels on the bench. For most players, you're anticipating passes through sight-lines. 99% of players aren't good enough passers to make those kinds of blind/half-blind reads, and even if you know they are, you can't pay attention to them for long enough to figure out what their intentions are. You have to read the game from a top-down view to anticipate it, and that's a rare skill in a player, much less an offensively-minded guard.

It's not uncommon to have Josh Hart jokingly tell the interviewer in post-game interviews after a win, that he had to 'carry' Jalen Brunson all game, or vice versa...🤣🤣. This end the debate. Jokic is clearly the best player in the world. He is definitely better than Giannis. How can you stop Jok? If you double him, he will maximize the scoring output of every player in the floor while Giannis, if you put bodies and wall over him then it ends there. In the clutch, no team fears Giannis, why? He looks like a role player in the floor who depends on dame while Jokic will be so dangerous in this situations, they are worrying what kind of play he'll do.

why don't any other bigs hand off the ball at the top? This is a pick and roll but with the big starting with the ball instead of the guard. It's so effective because jokic can just plant himself anywhere and then when he gets the ball, the pick and roll is ALREADY set up instead of seeing if the guard can manuever his way into position for the big to see the pick. Jokic has the ball and is ALREADY setting the pick for whenever the guard wants to come and take the ball. Jokic just turns around and says here you go and the guard now has a head of steam turning the corner and the defense is broken up. Now that guard can make a play or just get it back to jokic and do it again. It's beautiful to watch

God I love this haha. Like literal blood brothers. That's great. Also Jalen talking mad shit to a defensive specialist in Josh is crazy. Jalen, you're a offensive dude, Josh is defensive, I think he knows better than you where defensive positions are. lol
