Don't want to be all "well akshually" on you but just to be clear, cause the Sombor shuffle is a really fucking weird and cool move, it's when he jumps off the wrong foot, i.e. the right foot. Those two shots over AD weren't that but they're still really cold af for sure.
@truthhurts8379 ай бұрын
True, they were all ice cold, step back fallaways. But not Sombor Shuffles. One was off the left foot like Dirk, the other two were off two feet. The Shuffle is when he does a Dirk but off the other foot.

I’ve been a basketball fan since 1965. Never seen anyone with all of his offensive skills. Best touch around the basket along with everything else. And my favorite thing of all is the way he doesn’t show off after making yet another spectacular play. The arena erupts and he just runs down to the other end and plays defense. I’m embarrassed for all of the chest-thumping, yelling, look-at-me egotists I’m forced to see when watching the great game of basketball. This man plays the game straight up and he’s a team player. Jokic is the reason why I started watching the NBA again. Just because he's putting up numbers I've/we've never seen before. It's not even close. He's by far the best player in the NBA right now and I thought that even before this playoff run. It's shocking that this hasn't been the general census. And those analyst clowns who judge play based almost entirely on rings are just that clowns. Up until this point... it wasn't even possible for Jokic to compete for the championship, because the team was building and last year key guys on the Nuggets were injured. This was the first year that Jokic had a chance to win a ring... and even if the Nuggets came up short in the playoffs.. he would still be the best in the league. It's not even close. Giannis is another excellent player, but Jokic is another degree better, because of his highly versatile game, where he doesn't have any notable holes or bad games for that matter. Defense is probably the weaker part of his game, but that's because everything else is on another level... but it's certainly not a hole in his game or a liability.

I felt a little sorry for AD there. That is really great defense, but a seven-footer leaning back, shooting off his off-foot with crazy arc is not defendable. No one really has to defend it because it is so rare that anyone can make that shot. There is nothing more AD could have done. The look on his face after that shot says it all. To all the Jokic critics: If Jokic was stoppable, the NBA would have found a way already. He has too good of hands, shoots too well, passes too well, posts up too well to be stopped. He is creative and has found ways to overcome every defense that has been thrown at him. He is a seven-footer than runs point on the floor, the offense goes through him. He passes like John Stockton, Shoots like Bird and Rebounds like Rodman and posts like Hakeem. And yet, there are still morons in the media with their own agenda that are blind to his greatness. I say, if your narrative is true...just stop him. Good Luck. Denver is going to win a few more, but I have a feeling that Jokic has a personality where he will retire early. I don't even think basketball is his top love. I love watching him because the league has never seen anyone quite like him. Has an offense ever run through the center?

Reminiscent of Shaq and Kobe. Impeccable two-man game. If Murray stays healthy, this can be a dynasty. It has even higher hopes to be great that their stars have no ego. It ain't how you act when you're trying to be great. It's how you act when you know you're great and still have the where with all to recognize you can't do it alone. One of the best runs in NBA history. As a laker fan, knowing we've beaten them 3 times in the WCF before comforted me. But it was easy to see that no team was even close to their level.
