Niko needs at least 20 minutes a night consistently to get his potential out. You can’t bench a guy and expect to improve and contribute. He did great this summer with Serbia and not many Heat players could replicate that but Jovic needs more trust by Spo!

They know he got potential NBA team are just being smart first getting him bulk like what they did to chet holgrem. So injury prone is less. And I think they are also creating future lineup when jimmy Lowry and some NBA old player is gone. Pretty smart move for Miami heat. Future NBA core line up Tyler herro Jaime jasquez Caleb martin Nikola jokic Bam adebayo

@@huguesdecimus3384 You probably haven't been keeping up with Miami basketball. Because Lowry has been complaining about not being able to see anybody big on the floor. And Jimmy supporting Jovic by going to some of his games just shows that him and Lowry want somebody 6'9 and up on the floor with Bam (our only other normal 6'9 guy that starts). Instead of putting somebody smaller starting next to Bam in the front court. Which would be a guy that is below 6'9.

He’s getting there, mentally once the game slows down for him he can be something special. I think in order to take that next step offensively he has to work on his triple threat foot work to make it easier to score in isolation which would be deadly with his size and shooting ability. Very few players can contest his shot at that size so learning to create space will give him more opportunity. He can take a page or two from Duncan and Jaime. Their foot work, patience and ability to read their defender makes it easier to create distance from their defender without too much dribbling. So much potential in this kid

He's highly skilled and intelligent for a 6-10 guy but problem is he's a tweener and jack of all trades. Needs to land somewhere where he will play 25-30 minutes and figure it out
@kaibalfour2318
@kaibalfour2318 6 ай бұрын
His foundation is amazing as a 6.11 player with point guard skills. He just needed time to adjust to the speed of the NBA. Sometimes he seems rushed and would make simple mistakes. He can attack the basket and shoot the lights out at 6.11. The next step he needs is to develop his triple threat footwork to create space without dribbling because it’s hard to contest someone at his height especially if he’s crafty. If he develops a decent postgame, makes quicker reads on his defender he will be able to score at will.
@bogdanbackup
@bogdanbackup 6 ай бұрын
@@kaibalfour2318 This is best case scenario. For the time being he is too frail to have a post game and is a streaky shooter. He needs to go somewhere to play half an hour

@KevondrickBailey lol. Looks like you don't know heat basketball. Spo loves to play small ball. The Love-Bam tandem is obsolete because Love is now our back up Center. Jovic will play pg on offense and pf on defense. Highsmith is a top 5 one on one defender in the league, so he will guard the opposing point guards or the best player on the opposing team. Aside from small ball, Spo plays position less. I do know Miami Heat games, and I've been a fan even before the big 3. Sit down, kid.
