Like you, I shoot manual with Auto ISO on. A great tip that I learned was to go to the ISO Sensitivity Settings in the Photo Shooting Menu and after turning Auto ISO on, set the Maximum Sensitivity to 200 (this is the lowest option available). Once this is done, you can now set whatever maximum ISO value you want using the ISO dial on top of the camera. This way you don't have to navigate the menus to change your maximum ISO value when you want to depending on your shooting conditions. Now, depending on what aperture and shutter speed you select, ISO will automatically range from 100 (even though 200 is set to the maximum ISO in the menu) all the way to whatever ISO you have set on the top dial as your maximum value. I would have never thought to set the ISO like this, but it really does work and is great timesaver when you want to quickly change the maximum ISO that the camera will use for exposure.

I also use this method. However, beware of one glitch. For some reason, ISO bracketing does not work correctly when the camera is set up this way. The lower and mid exposures work fine, but the ISO for the higher exposure does not get set correctly.

It also only works in M and S, A and P will set minimum ISO that way. I shoot M almost always so I use it set up with the above description and it works really well.

Amazing!!!! Thank you so much for the help. Can you please make a video on the scroll wheels so I can know how to use them correctly. I would like one wheel to set shutter speed and one to set aperture.

VERY helpful. I went to a large bird Aviery yesterday and was totally lost and guessing which settings might work best on my ZF as to birds. Many great tips here...Thank you...Subscribed. :)
