Nikon Zf was the first Nikon I was ever interested in. Got it in October last year and still have it. Great camera! Especially for shooting with manual focus lenses or those smaller affordable Viltrox lenses which are a steal.

I've owned the Z6, Z5, Z50, and the Zfc. I traded them in for the Z6II (and later for the Zf) and have been using it as my primary camera since it came out. I was satisfied with it, but not completely thrilled, as I had purchased the other cameras to improve focusing and low-light performance. Then I got the Zf, and it was the solution I had been looking for. Everything is better now - focusing and low-light performance are no longer an issue, and with the addition of a half case, the grip is just fine. I am a full-time professional and highly recommend the Zf. It is a much better camera. My Z6 II is now my backup, which I use occasionally for less demanding jobs to keep the battery charged. But for any challenging job, it is the Zf without question.

Thank you for this! I know they are different classes of cameras but I’d love an image quality comparison between Nikon Z fc and Nikon Z f.

I'm not sure why there isn't much support now for the Z6ii, now that the later models are out. I have two of them with 6 of their Z lenses. I shoot paid gigs and events, and sometimes in lowish light and I find the AFC works well enough. I barely miss any images for focus, even when taking over a thousand images at an event (they normally involve people dancing and moving quickly). The images are truly beautiful and I do daylight-balanced, HHS, TTL, fill-flash. The z6ii was a camera that Nikon got almost good enough, but for me it is close enough. The ZF is $3,500 per body, so for me to swap over there is 7K for two bodies (here in Australia). For the Z6iii, they are $4,5000 per body, so there is 9K for me to change over. These old models aren't worth much for resale, so it would cost me a motza to change over. Probably what I'm saying is I scabbed it with Fuji for ten years, so when I finally embraced my nikons two years ago it was like night and day. It's great to finally be with a great system.

I had the Zf but returned it. Even with the small rough grip , using the 50mm z lens became uncomfortable when shooting at certain angles. Some of the photos I took in low light had really bad noise at the bottom left and right corners of the photos. There was an odd internal movement I noticed. For those who own a zf, hold the camera vertically up then turn vertically down. Do you notice as if something is moving back forth internally? Because I can notice it a lot with the zf I had. I prefer the ergonomics (z6ii) over AF accuracy (Zf)

Well, when z6iii come out, I can't decide.... Stay with z6 ii or go ZF ?

ZF DR is better than Z6III. Kept my Z6II and bought ZF instead.
