Niles builds machines To order. typically you give them a part or part print and associated requirements as far as number of parts to be made cycle time that you must meet and they build a machine to suit they don't build general purpose machines for market But they will build a machine to your specifications as you wish. They build the very finest machines money can buy they can be configured in unimaginable ways like say you want a boring bar tool changer they make that how about a multi-axis boring bar that works on that tool changer yeah they make that they make some very unique options for machines how about a machine that's 30 ft long accurate to 5 microns they make that. They are not interested in competing with the dmgs of the world but DMG will not make for you what Niles will. There is no Warehouse filled with machines waiting to be sold the machines are made to order it may take some time possibly a year but when you receive your machine it will be everything you want it to be because it was built to your specifications and no one builds a more accurate rigid platform equipped with the control and features that you want there is no better machine at a fair price.

@@chauvinemmons That's understandable. Same as with a WFL although those tend to be more general-purpose. I believe they have two older WFL Millturn machines up at the Nortrac plant to the northeast of me in Newton, KS. I could just imagine how long it would take if they had to replace one of those.
