For everyone who is watching this and find it amazing, it is 100 times more breathtaking live. In a world with 10 second videos and full of people with extremely short attention spans, Nils Frahm manages to capture you completely with his music for 2 hours straight thinking it's only been 10 minutes. It always leaves you sad that it's over but so happy that you were part of it. Please, if you ever have the chance, go see him live. I guarantee you will not regret it. Truly one of the most unique artists alive.

I remember 11.45 hitting like melancholy infused molly into my stomach. It's as if he bypasses the ears and aims directly for the nerves. In terms of live-performances he exceeds the best I've seen by many miles. Never before or again I've witnessed such a demonic display of tenderness.

What an absolute genius! Those old analog instruments have something magical.
@jillesoom3305 Жыл бұрын
For those unaware, the reason he wets his hands is because of the instrument he's playing: a glass harmonica. It's the same as using a wet finger on a wine glass but with different tones.

Tears in my eyes. First. From his incredible talent that only offered itself to me when hearing him live in LA earlier this year. Second. It was my 7 year old daughters first concert. She had literally tears in her eyes months later telling me what a special time it was with daddy. I should have and could have recorded it. I inquired with his publicist about any recordings from the show to no avail. I’m literally weeping as I watch this. Thank you so much for sharing it! ❤

From what I understand, he's keen on getting people to his shows to experience his work in person; as per your testament - that's how his art is best experienced. So I assume he's not keen on live albums. However, Tripping with Nils came out about 4 years after All Melody, I hope we can expect the same of his live reworks of his current tracks.
@Exeljion7 ай бұрын
@@georgewaller7080 I recently asked him in person if we will get a new live album in the near future. And happily he answered my question with a "Yes". He told me that many of the concerts are recorded for the production.
