This guy is my favorite physicist of his generation….i understand exactly NOTHING, but I’m still here. I am not a physicist and merely a worm with a BA…I am 48 years old, a combat veteran who missed her chance to go to medical school when I graduated with a biology degree but was forced to take a BA and not a BS as I was under a full scholarship with the.US Army and it was right after 9/11…I was ordered to immediate active duty. and today I was accepted into UC of Colo Springs Engineering school. Guess I better start working on starting my brain back up! My 19 year old son is uncertain what to think- he’s proud of me but we may end up in the same class together 😂

he speaks sooo fast that you can play on .75 and it sounds totally normal ( not slow at all!) ... if he spoke at this speed in lectures then maybe when he asks if anyone has a question he would get some questions because people would have a sec to actually contemplate ( at least process a bit) what he is saying as he is saying it instead of only being able to review the lecture after the fact and think/process it then .. (spoken as a student who's attended a series of his lectures) ..... he's brilliant but the rest of us need a second !

What's up with his teeth and health? I knew him from IAS a decade ago; back then, he'd work very hard but stayed healthy. Now, it's a worry - he seriously needs to look after himself.

His weight appears to fluctuate, hope he keeps it up, although I can imagine he’s less concerned with the earthly business of working out, eating healthy. His theoretical work is his number one focus. Keep happy and healthy Nima!
