As i expected the C11 impressed me beyond my expectations and delivers over and above when it comes to quality, performance, design and comfort. Especially comfort actually! I can imagine this boat being ideal for weekend getaways in colder climates like New Zealand and Tasmania. As an overnighter, fast explorer or commuter to your batch (holiday house) this Nimbus ticks the boxes!

Great boat for all-round use, including deep-sea troll fishing. One we have is equipped with all kinds of down riggers, sonars, xtra railings on aft , etc. for that purpose and still she is very fine to just go out on a trip with family.

This is one impressive boat. Loved the scenery...but loved the boat's performance even more. Part day boat, it seems, when that's what's called for, given those inboards. But oh my, to have this in the Bahama Islands...!

Great test drive Dan and informative as usual! How about the noise level? Sounded noisier than outboard - but perhaps just the way the mic was set up.

No worries at all. Yes it's noisier than the outboards for sure and at certain points through the rev range you notice the motors more so you find yourself driving at certain revs when the motors feel and sound like they are humming along nicely. Closing the doors also makes a considerable difference. Basically just sounds like a normal diesel boat so nothing unusual but definitely more noise than outboards.

Oh cool! I would really like to see a C11 with twin 400hp's!! Post a pic to the Nimbus facebook page when you get it as i follow that page. That means you'll have a good storage locker where the engine bay would be. Based on what i've already experienced on the T11 with 300hp outboards you will have a super nice drive and should expect slightly higher cruising and WOT speeds. Would be interesting to know what speeds your boat does when you've taken delivery?

@@BoatLife_DansBoatLife thansk for the replay, i will try to post some pictuers. I dont know the delivery yet, thers been som delays this year at nimbus… And yes one of the reasons for outboard is storage and easy service and of cource the higher fast cruising speed.

Thank for this video? Can you do one showing all the storage and mechanical spaces in the C11? I can’t find anything that shows what space under seats is like not other spaces beyond the space where the inboards would go. Would be very helpful!

Great Review. Do you have any performance data on the C11 with the new Merc V10 400s?

So Daniel (cool name by the way) I was supposed to be flying to Sweden next week to test the new W11 (Same hull) with V10 400's but it's been delayed in production. I'm not aware of any C11's fitted with those motors in my area yet. I believe it will not only be a great match for these hulls but also look even cooler as the T11/C11 is actually quite a large boat when compared to other boats of a similar length. I think it may be September now when I get my first opportunity but if anything pops up before I will absolutely film and post it because i'm pretty excited about those motors!

Nice boat but next time you test over here be aware the speed limit in the Sounds is 5 knots within 200m of land which includes Allports Island!

Is it possible to drive only with one Inboarder if i dont need two ? And whats the price more between Inboard and Outboard ! thanks great Video I love it but money is a bitch and dont come to me !! Hahahah

Yes it would be possible but the question is will Nimbus supply it with a single inboard as i'm unsure. Alose check your local market as single motors of this size in Australia would be hard to re-sell so sometimes it's wise to spend the money on the twins because the net result when you move to the next boat is more positive.
