The Legends of History

Жыл бұрын

When the Biblical God sent the flood, it is believed by some commentators that Nimrod ordered the construction of the Tower of Bable (a tower to reach the heavens) in case he sent another one. Another idea proposes that Nimrod ordered the Tower to be built so he could reach God and fight him 😬

We used to call people, 'Nimrod ' as an insult when we were kids, absolutely no idea where it's use originated. It wasn't until many years later, I learned Nimrod was a person in the Bible, and responsible for building the Tower of Babel. Also, 'Nimrod ' was a early warning aircraft used by the RAF.

@@JohnDee633 the Tower of Babel is the central Pyramid at Giza. Babel is a variation of Babylon which means Gate of God, and in ancient maps Cairo was named ‘Babylon Cairo’. Babylon Cairo contained the Gate of God- God (Master) in the context of the Divine being Brahman (Existence) whereas Babylon Iraq contain the Gate of Gods- Gods (Many Masters) in the context of the He being the Cro Magnon humans of other worlds deified as Gods in the pantheons of Mythology. Nebuchadnezzar who believed himself to be the reincarnation of Marduk (Nimrod) sought to reignite the furnace (Star Gate) found within Babylon to allow for the return of the Gods. The story goes, 3 priests went into the flames, and 4 returned, the 4th member being a giant human who told them not to do that again for the time is not right. Fast forward to 2001, Saddam Hussein believed himself to be the reincarnation of Nebuchadnezzar and sought to reignite the flame once more in order for the Gods to return and impose judgment onto those who had caused the world injustice. The US invaded and stripped out that entire country of every artifact pertaining to the Anunnaki, then had ISIS destroy whatever was left in order to erase history.

Nimrod according to Islam is one of the four rulers who have the largest kingdom in the world. Nimrod was given the privilege of God, that is, he never felt sick, and never sneezed even once. Nimrod was an illegitimate child and he married his own mother. Nimrod claimed to be a god, but was denied by a prophet that Nimrod was not a god, instead there was only one god and he was in the sky. due to being challenged by the prophet's claims, nimrod built the tower of babel. intended to kill the god that the prophet believed in and then declared that there was no other god but Nimrod. nimrod climbed the tower of babel and carried arrows dipped in the blood of eagles. after reaching the top floor of the tower of babel, nimrod shot an arrow as if he killed god. then the arrow soaked in the eagle's blood was shown to his people and claimed that he had killed the god that the prophet believed in, then declared that he was the only god that existed now. due to the arrogance, misguidance of Nimrod who claimed to kill God and claimed to be God, God showed the true power of God by sending only a mosquito that entered his head through the ear hole and killed Nimrod. and thus ends the history of a man who had a great kingdom, but became arrogant and misguided by admitting himself to be a god.

The Hebrew language philology transliterates its Sumerian roots, likely in an evolved attempt to separate themselves. In these cases, Hebrew adds pro word 'ni' and subtracts "uk", from the tail. So his name was Maruduk, or Mars in the latin. He was a Sumerian and had black hair.

It wasn't a tower, but, it may have been able to reach the heavens. "Nothing will be impossible for them now."
@men_del12
@men_del12 Жыл бұрын
It may even be possibly some slopes stairs (ziggurats) similar to Pyramid (of Egypt or Mesopetamian). And the idea of "reaching to heaven" is even similar to ones at Babylon (House of the Foundation-Platform of Heaven & Earth), at Asshur= Assyria (House of the Mountain of the Universe), Larsa (House of the Link between Heaven & Earth), & at Borsippa (House of 7 Guides of Heaven & Earth). Interestingly, there's an interpretation of this chapter story of Bible passage of "But the Lord came down to see the city & the tower that the men building." (Genesis 11:5) by commenting that: "Although men tried to make prideful stairway thing to heaven, even the Lord jokingly couldn't even see the tower's peak that He had to go down to check them". Of course one then may ask: Why then He sounded so worry of "...nothing they plan to do will be impossible for them" (Genesis 11:8)???? Well, you may even be shocked later that in Psalm 2: 1-6 where it said kings of all nations are against the Lord & His Anointed One, which the Lord in heaven laughs, rebukes them in anger, & gives wrath + even established His own King & Kingdom. So, does this mean suddenly God able to fight humanity? Well, no, because previously even God already sent Great Flood before Tower of Babel. So, no, He's able to scatter us all. Still, why then He said that regarding Tower of Babel? WELL, if you carefully see the wordplay in Tower of Babel story: The humans always say "...come, let us make bricks & bake them throughly" (11: 3) & "...come let us build ourselves a city, with a tower..." (11: 4) & the Lord said: "Come let us go down & confuse their language..." (11:7). You will realize that this story is about group of men trying to rebel the group of God (Trinity). And the Psalm similarly helped us to understand that a group of kings trying to rebel group God (Himself + His Anointed + indirectly even to His Kingdom). In conclusion: *ONE OF THE MESSAGES IS ABOUT A WARNING OF DARKSIDE OF COMMUNITY THAT COULD PLOT WORST THINGS TO DO WICKED THINGS THAT MAY EVEN BE SO HIGHLY HORRIBLE THAT THE LORD JUSTICELY SAYS: I'M GONNA STOP YOU RIGHT THERE*

It was about man being unified as one, where nothing will be impossible for them. Which is why God scattered them - dis-unified them. @@cherylscott6040 Cheryl. Agreed. It's impossible for man to enter heaven through his own achievement. Though I think the city and tower were symbolic of mankind becoming great in his own eyes so that he was attempting to achieve the status of God, becoming his own God, his own lord and master of his own destiny. This is mankinds desire now; to rule himself apart from God and using peace in the world as a yardstick measure of his success. This is what the United Nations is all about now in these last days. The beast, we are told in Dan 7, is the line of Gentile kingdoms that were to come to unite the world in rebellion of God. The spirit of man, powered by the dragon the prince and power of this world, has always sought to unify as one in this way. First in families into tribes. From tribes to city states. From city states to nations From nations to great kingdoms. The end goal being, one world unity. And this is the desire of the dragon; the rebellion of the creation - man, from his Creator.

The Tower of Babel and Shinar is where the God brought the confusion of languages. Genesis 11:1-9 Genesis 11 New King James Version The Tower of Babel 11 Now the whole earth had one language and one [a]speech. 2 And it came to pass, as they journeyed from the east, that they found a plain in the land of Shinar, and they dwelt there. 3 Then they said to one another, “Come, let us make bricks and [b]bake them thoroughly.” They had brick for stone, and they had asphalt for mortar. 4 And they said, “Come, let us build ourselves a city, and a tower whose top is in the heavens; let us make a name for ourselves, lest we be scattered abroad over the face of the whole earth.” 5 But the Lord came down to see the city and the tower which the sons of men had built. 6 And the Lord said, “Indeed the people are one and they all have one language, and this is what they begin to do; now nothing that they propose to do will be withheld from them. 7 Come, let Us go down and there confuse their language, that they may not understand one another’s speech.” 8 So the Lord scattered them abroad from there over the face of all the earth, and they ceased building the city. 9 Therefore its name is called [c]Babel, because there the Lord confused the language of all the earth; and from there the Lord scattered them abroad over the face of all the earth Nimrod is the Father of Babylon which is most of the modern day Christian Churches in the west. (Evangelical included)Even some Pentecostal Churches have this kind of error in their biblical interpretation. Mixing worldly ideals and values with Jesus bring a compromise of our Faith and many breaches where the Devil comes to influence the modern day Churches. The devil was a thief from the beginning. He is the father of lies. Modern day Christianity has a mixture of Sinai (Mosaic misinterpretations) and Grace based Zion Beliefs which end up compromising our Faith in Jesus Christ. Self righteousness mixed with the Gifts of the Holy Spirit do not necessarily indicate you are a real Christian believer….

One interpretation I noticed is that given Nimrod is originally referred to as a mighty hunter before God, I wonder if his building the tower was a case of Nimrod assuming that he knew God’s will and felt it was his God Given destiny to have an empire that not only encompasses the known world but Heaven. It’s easy to forget that while the Bible warns against rebels of God it does also warn against false prophets who use the will of God to justify tyranny and corruption. A through line that even appeared in the Flood story as Noah takes it upon himself without consulting God to curse his son Ham(who’s family tree Nimrod is from) and ended up creating the conflict between Ham and his older brothers that would soon escalate into the conflicts with the Race of Canaan. And of course a theme that appears in the New Testament with the Pharisees and Harod who were hypocrites that abused their power on those they deemed sinners and lower than themselves

@@annemurphy9339 yes a rock formation is a power grid. How about you build a power grid with rocks. And if the Egyptian were so smart why didn't they invent the horse and Chariot? Why was imhotep the only one to know how to build Pyramids on Egypt and none was built after the 3 in his time.
@annemurphy9339
@annemurphy9339 Жыл бұрын
@@2gunzup07 You appear to have somehow twisted my observation that ancient Egypt included a power grid to some odd kind of superiority claim for the ancient Egyptians - it’s just odd. The fact is measurements and scientific studies have been conducted that prove these ancient pyramids were built to function as “electrical generators” & wirelessly transmit this electric energy across Egypt. Dynastic Egypt was built by a Levantine tribe who migrated down into North Africa from the western edge of the Asian Levant, so perhaps they brought this technology with them. We are discovering there are many more of these ancient pyramidal structures across the world. This doesn’t take anything away from the ancient Greeks or Romans, whose intelligence, ingenuity, & scholarship are remarkable even into modernity.

Having grown up going to a private Christian school (Pre-K thru 12th), I was taught the "less common idea" spoken of in this video. In fact, I had never heard any alternate ideas about WHY the great tower was errected, save the lessons I received from my schools and churches, all of which were the following the same ideology (btw, Presbyterian and later, Assemby of God ideologies being represented in this post). First, the Tower of Babel was built to escape a potential "Second Great Flood"? Honestly, I'd NEVER heard of this until TODAY, when I watched this video. I was taught - with all the fervor of an umchallenged doctrine - that the tower of Babel was erected in order to reach the heavens, and thus, man would be on the level with God Himself. 2nd, as I'd never actually heard about the tower being used to escape the 2nd great flood (until I saw this video yesterday), there had to be an alternative answer to WHY was I taught that? Well, why? Unfortunately, I'm not sure. However, second, I would guess it has to do with the fact that, as I was taught, God sent a rainbow after the 1st flood as a promise to mankind that he would never again subject the world to such a blanket judgment and extermination. [In fact, for anyone curious to hear, that rainbow sent by God after the Great Flood,was the FIRST rainbow. Ever. And every subsequent rainbow seen by man, all the way up until present day, was meant to reinforce God's original promise to never exterminate mankind in such a way.] Anyway... How could there ever be a 2nd flood if God promised after the 1st that there would never be one . I guess God isn't allowed to change his mind. Seems a pretty good reason. I learn new things, virtually weekly, that contradicts what i was taught as a very sheltered, very timid young child, and many of the lessons fry childhood pop up at the most random times. Im often stumned (not so much anymore) that other people learned other things! I grew up in a was a very close-knit community that did not warmly tolerate dissent from their books and their "meaning" for things, as a learned in my later years of high school, when i would naively question ideologies id be taught with alternate ideas, those not "approved" of according to my education. But I digress. The things listed here are certainly not claimed at false. I just wanted to offer my singular experience (and subsequent memories) as a representation of what i would have considered damn near heretical in my community. If anyone was interested. So, all ive said here is simply what *I* was taught in my private Christian schools, all the way through high school - and believe me, it sticks with you LONG after graduation. Take it as merely a different spin on Biblical understanding and meaning. And for God's sake, do NOT force whatever YOUR views are on OTHER people. That's where you get indoctrination, which is a very Powerful tool for leaders to weird. I would know. I learn new thing - particularly about the Bible and Christianity - nearly EVERY day. Its odd to think. I'm 40 years old now, and that shit STILL STICKS. Reader beware.

@@lmao5070 so if you look at america today do you mostly see native Americans or do you see more whites, Hispanics and blacks? Just because city still exist and people live there doesn’t mean they always lived there. Come on bro. That’s what happens when you get conquered. People come and people go. Maybe you should read the Bible before you try to argue with someone whose read it from cover to cover.

The tower if Bible was a metaphorical tower meant to represent a few men trying to play the role of God. This is happening again today, with very few people building a "structure" designed to put them on top of everyone else.

Nimrod was from Ethiopia which makes him black. Also Nimrod was the great grandson of Noah and yes he built the tower of Babel by the Euphrates river somewhere in lower Iraq. In the land of Mesopotamia. He started the Babylonian Empire. Nimrod stole Adam's garments and became a powerful warrior. The Bible speaks of theBook of Jasher so I read it.👍🏼

@@Georgia-Vic OK, so in other words you don't have an answer lol. I read through Genesis two weeks ago and there was nothing about Nimrod "being descended from giants" or even "being the hunter of men". 1 Chronicles 1:10 says he murdered innocent men, not hunted. In fact, the Bible literally states he was a descendent of Noah. Genesis 10:1-10.

@@geekhammergamer1438 "They are evil because the guy who committed the killing said so" is a very weak justification. Every single tyrant, and dictator in history used that exact same reasoning to justify their actions to future generations who will not know better, and its disturbing that this off planet entity that calls itself "god" uses the same excuse as those tyrants back then, and today. Even worse when you call the killing "righteous". Also you need to read your bible again. He killed everyone because some "angels" in his ranks had children with women, and created Nephilim(Super humans) then spared Noah because his family was "pure". So not only was this a genocide, but an ethnic cleansing as well. And the worst part is that only a small section of the population was responsible for any of it yet almost every man, woman, baby, plant, and animal had to die for it. So I stand corrected Nimrod did nothing wrong gathering humanity to fight against a murderous extraterrestrial threat to the planet. If anything is "righteous" its that.

The Tower of Babel was a Ziggurat, the Ziggurats were built as platforms for the gods. What made the Tower of Babel so bad is they built it out of pride, as to say “God, look at this great achievement we have made, we deserve your power!”
