I am never complaining about Paper Mario ever again. We are getting what is considered to be the greatest Paper Mario game ever remade and it’s all what the classic fans have been asking for and it’s all I could ever want and at this point, if Nintendo decides to return to their new Paper Mario formula of new, experimental games like Sticker, Color and Origami, I’ll be alright with it and if they truly return to form like TTYD and the original or even Super Paper Mario, I’ll be more than happy but also chill about it because no matter the outcome after this remake drops, I’ll be content and happy with just that since they finally returned to this amazing game and made it better than it could ever be. And that’s something I couldn’t never trade. Can’t wait to share this wonderful game with others and I will certainly not sell or trade my Switch nor this TTYD remake. It’s too precious to me and it’s meant to be shared. Thank you Nintendo for listening and delivering. I can die a happy Paper Mario fan and you will no longer hear me complain about the series ever again. Thank you.

People are hating on this remake too much. I think it looks great. I don't know why people are freaking out over 30 fps. I didn't notice it until someone said something about it. The music is also amazing. I guess some people just got to find something to complain about.

I _just_ now noticed that each Yoshi color has a different hairstyle. I don't know why, but I _never_ noticed that before.

As far as i know stylish doesn't give more star points for levereling up, it does give more star power for special moves

This is my first time playing TTYD, I’ve played all the other games minus Super paper Mario (however it is on my list of games to play,) and I am pumped for my copy to arrive

These are some very good tips especially for new players playing Paper Mario The Thousand Year Door Remake for the first time. One of the best in this has to be the contact lens quest when I was younger I remember seeing it in a walkthrough of the game that said it was really important to order in the shop ahead of time before Chapter 1 to access Rogueport's West Side a bit quicker.

11:36 There ARE but you can find the Missing Logs in Frankly's Trash. The Atomic Boo being the best example as you can easily Miss the Mini-Boss Fight if you don't use the Super Hammer on the Boos in Creepy Steeple a Few Times. I missed it on my first playthrough As I wasn't aware it existed.

They should really make a Paper Luigi spin off based on his quest.

As expensive as it was, I actually got the 12 month online + expansion just to play the Paper Mario N64 version, which is kind of worth it because there's Yoshi, Kirby and Starfox on that and I don't want to emulate them on the PC. But if you are going to play the first Paper Mario using Switch Online, DO NOT rely on the save blocks, use cloud save states every now and then which is more reliable. The save blocks can corrupt and delete the whole game save file, but they don't affect the save states.

The main reason to see the traveling merchant is the Wario emblem . Then when you get the Luigi emblem you get the waluigi drip. Main reason to play imo.

A way to explain the battle system to a Younger audience is it's not too dissimilar to Mario and Luigi games

These are some pretty great tips for newcomers to the game. I still can't believe that my favorite Paper Mario game of all time is coming to the Switch in less than 2 weeks. It feels like a dream come true.

These are even helpful for someone like me who’s only played the original a couple of times. It has been a while.

One thing you forgot to mention. When you get the spike shield and ice shield badges, you can jump on spiked enemies and fire enemies. Those really come in handy.

I personally love the newer set just as much as the older set. I played the newer set with my siblings and got to do voices and it was a great time. The older set was me grinding away by myself and going hard core on it. :D Both sets were a blast!

2:36 The thing is that each area can offer 2 to 3 levels ups with a few exceptions before you see diminishing returns in terms of xp. By level 20 most enemies including a certain repeatable boss will no longer offer much in terms of xp for beating them

Power Plus and Defense Plus badges are your friend. You want to maximize damage output while taking almost none in return. Use your items, im a typical item hoarder but use them! You will always have coins or items.

I didnt do the contact lense right away and did it on the chapter where you supposed to go past that npc and i order the lense and i went to the right screen and got the email that it was ready to pick up.

Do I need to know more if I've seen some Twitch streamer's whole Gameplay of Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door Gamecube version and know a whole game's story and because of that reason is it still worth it to buy The Thousand-Year Door HD Remake for the Nintendo Switch? ".... best to do the first 50 floors around halfway through the game." Laughs as I clear floor 50 after chapter 1. For real though, thats probably a better idea. Im a veteran at Thousand Year Door, i wouldn't recommend people go deeper than floor 20-40 after chapter 1 unless they feel confident. Definitely try it though, there's some AMAZING badges in there.

When Derrick Bitnerd was at GameXplain he live-streamed all of the Paper Mario games when he left GameXplain he put his streamed playthrough playlists on his YT channel Bitnerd Games I've watched them a lot except I started watching Andre Segers of GameXplain Sticker Star playlist since Derrick hated Sticker Star. When Sthe remake comes I hope Andre does a streamed playthrough playlist of it I'll start watching it and stop watching the Gamecube version.

Seems like for several of the points, you are assuming these things will work the same way in the remake as the original. I’m sure some of it will be the same, but hard to say.
