A judge decided to put Drew in Pentonville for his crime of insider trading. Edit: Yes, I am well aware the judge is corrupt, that does not in any way change the fact the judge disregarded the plea deal and the JUDGE, NOT NINA put Drew in Pentonville. Nina haters seem to feel she had control of the judge, control of the warden and control of even Cyrus' actions. Perhaps we can have a rational thought and perhaps surmise that Cyrus and the warden controlled the judge to get to Sonny .... nah, then you'd have to release some of the Nina hate. Some Nina haters also seem to feel once the information that she informed the SEC of Drew and Carly's crime that Nina will then go to jail. That is not going to happen because Nina is not the one who did the crime. Sonny may be angry, but he genuinely loves her. so, we'll see what he does. (I think that's Nina haters real issue - Sonny genuinely fell in love with Nina)

Sonny has done way worse than Nina

Smike wanted nothing to do with finding out who was attached to that wedding ring he was wearing for the entire time he was in Nixon Falls. Sonny acts differently because in Nixon Falls, he got a taste of what life would be like for him if he was not mob boss Sonny Corinthos. He remembers that and he also remembers falling in love with Nina. When he came back that Sept, he continually told Nina that he wanted to explain to Carly what happened but never did, so I think because he wasn't honest, he hurt his family more than Nina did. What Nina haters don't seem to register is: If Nina had told the family when she saw him in mid-March that he was alive but had amnesia they would have gone through Sonny rejecting them, exactly what Ned's family is going through now. Also, Cyrus may have killed him because Jason was on the run from being framed for Franco's murder. What Nina haters don't want to admit is that Michael Corinthos did very much fall in love with Nina. (PS I imagine IR losing his lawsuit against the network closed the door on his ever returning to the role of Jax but perhaps it can be recast if needed, and we'll see about SB, but if Jason returns then Carly will drop Drew like a hot potato🤣)
