I wish Germany would pay her more accolades and tributes. She is still alive and kicking. A living legend! Nina's skill lies not only her in voice, but in her ability to be completely FREE doing what she enjoys, while at the same time constantly promoting a message of LOVE, without envy, without jealousy, and without making any kinds of demands, just pure light, light-hearted, heartful, and thus in this freedom steering herself and her voice to provide us the same - with a lot of entertainment intertwined.

She's not only a beautiful Imp, she was probably the single most important person to come out of the GDR in the 70's. She brought peace love and punk rock. She's a saint.

I love this woman. I'm Brazilian and first heard of her when I was 7 years old when her song New York, New York became a massive hit in my country as it was the theme of a soap opera at the time back in the 80's. Been following her career ever since. Have every single one of her records. My queen. I bow to thee. My favourite song is Silent Love. It marked my childhood.

Despite not being a fan of Nina, I love the way she dresses up, her extravagance, and she speaks English. So we're in front of a clever person, besides, she's influenced over other artists, and that's why Nina's legacy will live forever, when she passes away.

Desde que escuche a Nina Hagen allá por el 82, empecé a comprar sus vinilos, tenía como 15 años ; y ya empezaba a moverme en la escena punk Radikal Vasco. En el 85 vino junto a Lenna Lovich a Iruñea-Pamplona, llenazo espectacular en el pabellón Anaitasuna, luego en Donosti- San Sebastián locura tot@l en su concierto y realmente creo que no habrá musicalmente parecido, claro está habló de los 80, Siouxie and the Bashes y cantidad de grupos vascos, una década de rock-heroina÷ violencia policial, E.T.A y todo lo que englobo en el surgimiento del llamado Rock Radikal Vasco!!-✊✊💣💣
