Oh my!! I also fight with those backing papers!! I'm glad that I can see you mentioning this issue. Most of the KZfaqrs take off the backing so easy it just makes me more frustrated!! I am loving your I dead of a master sheet being your booklet covers!! I am amazed by your tip of fastening the little holders on the covers! Running your adhesive in a bit from the outside edge has me gobsmacked!!

I really liked the way the doily faded into the page. It is just a bit different but still stunning. Take care.

I think I'm going to have to get one of those corner puches. I've been putting it off but I really like how it makes things looks finished. I have to say that I would never have a flap on an ephemera pocket because invariably I have pieces that are too big for the pocket!! I LOVE your journal, and I think I'm definitely going to use one of my masterboards to make a cover for a little collage journal I have the signatures made for. It is really good to have a journal that has ephemera and collage fodder already in it so when you are going off someplace where you may be waiting (like Jim's oncology appointments) you can just grab it, a couple of pens and some glue and be all set. Thanks for inspiring us, Nina.

This turned out so well. I thought my master board was done, but I found some more to add after cutting up a magazine. I have really enjoyed putting it all together. Thanks for the inspiration!

Your journal is stunning and watching you work in yours has given me an idea for one of my own. I am in the process of trying to make a used envelope journal, opening them up, by tearing down the side to give it a rugged look. So I will use my masterboard to make a cover for it, not sure I can do it in a week though, knowing how slow I work lol. Many thanks for your inspiration, you come up with the most creative ideas. This sensational! The master board makes a gorgeous over! Love the pages you selected. The see through pockets were an inspired idea and have all those pre-selected items in the back pocket was brilliant. The dollie is gorgeous and the layout on both oages is indeed simple and ekegant.

Love this journal. I was wondering about the fragile doily, maybe brush the Mat Medium on the page then gently place the doily on top? Too late now, but maybe for something in the future.

You could try using a make up sponge with the mat medium on very fragile or detailed papers like your doily.
