I came out last year even tho none of my bros suspected a thing (Kinda like BA lol). Skating has helped me get through the hardest times and guys, hearing your comments about this episode of the loveletters makes my heart warm. It really shows that you gave it your undivided attention and empathy. Thank you. Those 8 minutes of talking about it may seem small to you, but it meant a lot to me.

i love the way you guys talked about loveletters, as a bi skater that shit hit close to home! we need this, ALOT! i was afraid and scared to be myself for 20+ years and sadly hade some bad experiences as soon as i came out publicly, so even tho skateboarding is open and welcoming it can also be very harsh and tuff on some of us for being "diffrent". i hope and belive that skateboarding one day can look back at stuff like this a laugh at how silly it was to be afraid to come out around other skateboarders! and while im at it respect to steezus for last week!

I listened to Celestine Prophecy this week, and was surprised at how much I was reminded of Victor Wooten's "The Music Lesson." Both are available in Hooplah through my local library, and each of the audiobooks are less than 9 hours long.

Cool synchronicity. I've been wanting to read it for years, but I haven't gotten around to it yet. I was surprised he mentioned it; kind of a far-out thing for this podcast. Rog seems like he'd be a really great conversationalist on many levels. Definitely putting it at the top of my to-read list, now.

shout out to all of you long time fan of all of y’all and appreciate what you do, i just stared watching this episode and wanted to let chris know that there are cheap espresso makers, look up “greca coffee maker” or “stove top/cuban espresso maker” online idk what they’re called in english but we use those in puerto rico and cuba as well

Great episode. Great emotion and 100% on point. I'm sorry that Steezus feels the way he does but can absolutely recognize the legitimacy of why. Sincerely appreciate him sharing. As a continuation of the conversation as you said, my reflection on your statement about Chris's joke about rolling up on you. You said it was because the color of your skin. I'd reply that's what you feel based on experiences but what you think doesn't mean it's what was in another person's thoughts. Any large individual rolling up, masked up, with hoody, could be sketchy. As we're telling each other how to feel and what to think we need to be consistent. If a white person has no understanding of walking in black skin, then the opposite is true. Break the walls down, though, absolutely. I hope the whole system comes down and is replaced. I've been fighting for police reform and social justice issues for 30 years. When I started whites in general were told 'not to see color'. The majority of civil rights activists then were more into Reverend King's philosophy. Now the zeitgeist has shifted to recognize POC as different, or as you said it invalidates your struggles. My conversation added. I'm with Steezus 100%, I'll keep fighting until the world changes or my dying breath. Also keep in mind that almost every belief we hold now will be different in another 30 years. So if we're holding people accountable for the past we need to be knowledgeable on everyone's history. Remember the Black Panthers split and ended up murdering each other over disagreements about how to move forward. Just because we've all acknowledged the White systemic racist bullshit that's in place doesn't mean humans aren't humans. Everyone in power uses it to push their cause and push down others. So not only do we need to end racism, for people to get along we need to change the capitalst madness ride we're on that makes a living off of division. You've built this show on the backs of users with Google as your boss. The amount of damage KZfaq contributes to society is measurable, and the info is all bad on that. Same with Instagram. I hope you all have the power of your convictions and get off this platform and Instagram, so we can engage in a free space without supporting the very people that are oppressing the masses.

THE BOOKCLUB EXPERIENCE(lmaaao): A good book for understanding and learning about trauma is "Waking the Tiger"-Peter A. Levine. If you're a animal person and suffer from trauma this will really help you understand what's going on and they give your exercises to try. P.S TIAGO IS THEE MAN! One of my top favourites to watch and personality wise, he's fucking rad! WE NEED MONICA TORRES ON THE NINE CLUB!

Yo crazy shit! My girl and me been having relationship issues for a few months and ive been trying to figure out what I could do to make it better. Literally til just a few hours before this 9 club episode came out I thought to myself... just pretend like you're in a contest to be the best bf I can be to my lady. And just a few hours later Eldy comes out with this shit! That's fuckin dope! Confirmation! And my girl and I are happier than we've been in a long time. Although its only been one day, keepin it going hahaha...
