What gets me is how technical the tricks are these days. Mind you I skated in the 80's to early 90's, and I remember the bails I had and one that led to my retirement from skating, but dang the stuff they are doing now?? The injuries must be nasty. Every time I watch these films you guys put out, it just fascinates me just how frickin amazing modern skaters are. 👍🙏😎

@@joshuagraham1265 yes indeed that's the case with many different types of sports these days but what I'm saying is the complication the technical aspect of these tricks are much more elaborate than they were 30 years ago the risks are much higher now than they were 30 years ago. And seeing how anyone can master a fall when they're doing a backside board slide on something 15 ft tall there's not much you can do to prep yourself for that haha

The etiquette is different on zoom. In person has a lovely rambunctiousness to it. You're able to talk over/with each other. Stoked on the return of the show! Happy birthdate!

Been dealing with meniscus injury’s since I was 11.. I’m now 38. I’ve had 5 surgeries. The last surgery I went through a full rehabilitation, physio, stem cells and a 8 week steroid plan with gym work. Took about 3 months in total. My last surgery was 5 years ago now.. and I’ve never felt stronger. Take your time, build, eat well and go slow.

That first downhill line in Grant Taylor’s part is Effie St. in Silver Lake. That 7-Eleven is right across from what once was Spaceland (RIP), a pretty great little music venue. Also, I used to live off the street in GT’s ender (frontside flip to switch/regular hill bomb), Marathon. It’s a well known street in Silver Lake with rollercoaster-like hills.

The angle of the board (whether horizontal or 45 degrees) doesn't matter. He came from the OPPOSITE side. It is a backside nosebluntslide.
