In this video I put the ninebot max scooter to the test. I am going to take it on a real range test, city to city over an hour long.
We are not talking about taking the ninebot max around the block for an hour, we are talking about a real range test. From point A to point B on the ninebot max scooter.
Are you ready to watch this real range test?

*_Hello, Mark (see, we've got the same name)! I'm really glad I ran into your KZfaq Channel. I am planning on getting this exact same model (_**_#Segway_**_ _**_#Ninebot_**_ Max G30) really soon and this particular video (range test) is just the answer to my question. Even the actual POV/FOV is perfect. After your statistics, I Googled how far my home is to a far destination I like going to which I think an electric scooter is good to ride and it's not even close to the distance you've covered. I've also watched your purchase and unboxing of this and it's a great one. Thank you for sharing both. Please keep uploading your ride experiences and adventures with your Max. Instant sub here with the bell notif. ;) Cheers!_*

I notice in Canada for the most uses metric, after just a short google of history i was presently surprised of for the most part Canadians being aligned to the rest of the world with only Canadians and americans having to learn to drive on the correct side of the road, then the American car manufacturers could make billions of dollars more by not have to make seperate car manufacturing lines having to fit out its cars to swap the drivers steering wheel over to the right side of the car and have cars drive forward on the left side of the road etc etc, but that's just a little bit of harmless bantering, to my surprise I learned something new about Canada today being your metric systems (I was raised that 'a day not learning something new is a day wasted) and also I've wanted to come to Canada since I was a teenager, but life family etc has pushed my number 1 goal on my bucket list of countries to visit back quite a few years LOL, thanks for the great video, hopefully its not going to take me the same length of time to buy a ninebot scooter, cheers from Australia

Also, why don't you ride the scooter on the footpath, I would think its safer, here in Australia in more states and cities they have designated bike lanes marked on the roads for push bikes and scooters ( also wouldn't it have been easier and safer to do this test at night time with much less traffic on the road and a smoother/faster ride with less stoppages ???

I recently got this scooter. I'm loving it so far. I think it's a near perfect scooter for a "scooter sharing infrastructure" except the lack of adjustability with handlebar and stem. Luckily it's the perfect most comfortable height and width for me. One issue I have is my two feet don't fit comfortably on the deck. I would've appreciated wider deck. As it stands either quarter part of both my feet are hanging out of the deck when stationed safely (one foot forward one foot back), or one foot completely on, and half of the other foot hanging out. I definitely don't wanna have my feet crisscrossed on a moving vehicle that's wide open, no way to safely jump off in case of emergency. Initially I'd thought since I'm wearing shoes I shouldn't feel that my feet is hanging. But when I'm on a long enough ride 5km+, I feel the hanging part of foot getting tired/falling asleep so on. Other than this annoyance I feel this is a great scooter for many, and at the least a good starter/gateway scooter for most people who want to get into escooters. Just keep in mind the payload capacity (it has serious impact on the range). I'm quite surprised by the range you got. When I (100kg +/- 1kg payload) ride on S mode, it's able to take me 30kph, and uphill on some nice Hills but range crashes down to 3rd to a half of advertised. On D mode I had more range success, but it cannot climb many of the hills. I found the winning formula (to get more than 50% advertised range) for me is to ride on D mode and walk up the hills that it cannot climb in this mode. Most impressive thing I discovered about this scooter that I was pleasantly surprised by, is the effectiveness of Regen power recovery. I keep it in strong recovery mode and as long as I have enough downhill, I seem to be able to get close to advertised range on D mode (walking it uphills). I'm planning to embark on a Mississauga to Markham trip on this. Distance wise it matches the advertised distance exactly. I once attempted a walk the other way, and it includes a whole lot of uphill walking. So I'm assuming in this direction I'll get a whole lot of downhill riding (which will support my range requirements for this ride). Your video was just the perfect one for my needs and inspirational for my plan.

The drivers in this roads are pretty aggressive, so it is important to take extra precisions. The scooter is relatively new transport on the roads and many drivers and walkers not aware how fast scooter can be. I would add the red blinking light (like we use for bikes) on the back pack, or the helmet rear side and white blinking lite just above or below headlight to make sure you are visible for others in any weather conditions.

@@barrycampion9679 interesting, you should get 25 easily. I would contact Segway-Ninebot and check what they say. Maybe they can offer some warranty. Keep me updated

In Toronto I have a few dealers that can help with issues. Are you not able to deal with the place you purchased it from ? If not I still would reach out to Segway-Ninebot I mean what do you have to lose ? I hope you get this sorted.
