I'm so sorry ladies. My story is exactly the same as Linda. He posted a photo of a white man called '' Charlie"" but in reality he was my own people(black man) who was trying to scam me. At the time, we didn't have the social media's as we have today. We used to communicate via my space.while talking, he will go silent for a while and returned back with the answers that wasn't fully part of the coversation we were having. From then, realised he had words typed in word(MS)already, and was going back and forth to cut and paste. To cut the long story short, I called him one day, only to hear 100% the African accent...I was shocked. He had asked for money which I NEVER gave him. We MUST BE ALERT. STAY 💪🏿

Unfortunately, these sorts of stories will never get old as long as there are desperate and vulnerable people out there. There's so many videos like this to help warn others but it never reaches far enough, unfortunately.

I either ignore them or tell them I've got children older than them! It's flattering but I don't entertain it. There is no 'child' that is going to turn my head. I'm a man and I met my wife on an international dating site 3 years ago. We've been married 2 and a half years now. Yep, it was quick lol! We both have stories of the people we communicated with before meeting each other. For her, men who asked for lude and explicit photos. For me, a bunch of girls 30 years younger. Not jail bait but young enough to be my daughters. I'm not delusional enough to believe I have anything in common with a teenage girl. We Skyped every night for 6 months. I talked with her kids and she talked with mine. Neither one of us ever solicited the other for money. Once the COVID restriction was lifted I paid for her ticket to come visit me and we married 10 weeks later in our home. I sympathize with these ladies because I almost fell for it too from a woman I communicated with before meeting my wife. The "woe is me stories" are what really turned me off and once the request for money came I was out. Women and men for that matter have to really be careful these days. It can work if you have the right person and also be the right person.
