I cover the nightlife in Phuket with these videos and today we visit Bangla Road Walking Street and Otop Bar Area in Patong, Phuket- Thailand.
We suffered a setback. Hopefully it will only be temporary.. There is surprisingly still a lot of tourists in the street, but not many Thai girls.
All this is due to a new health check setup - and many was found sick.
All major clubs are closed and so are the agogo venues like Suzy Wong and Harem. At the start of soi sea dragon the big bar is also closed. Only minor bars are open and serve as restaurants now. Gate closes at 11pm officially.
After the tour on Bangla Road I drive to Otop Bar Area / Complex and we have a look around.

Really enjoyed your vlog. Soi Seadragon and Otop are two of my favourite areas in Patong - good vibe, friendly patrons, cheaper beers, and not overly aggressive ladies. I'm back in Bangkok since yesterday -passed my first PCR, will keep a low profile just to make sure I pass the second one, and then can relax more. If all is good will probably come to Patong for a week or two next week unless they shut absolutely everything down. Keep up your great content.

Always wonderful videos. Haven't been back to Patong since Songkran 2017. The traffic was crazy and as I walked down Bangla with my luggage they offered me free shots they pounded me with flour they dunked me with water bombs but I loved every minute of it! Keep up the great work. Would love to see you capture Bangkok and Pattaya too in your unique way. 🥂

Hi Sean - Thank you. I always have this problem when I go out, but the body switches to autopilot and start breathing out downwards in the mask I don't even notice it after a minute. But it is a pain wearing glasses..

Great videos my man, I love the way you go to OTOP as well. Friends of mine own a bar there, it's called Double Shot, it's just to the right of the first bar you showed with the guy in the blue T-Shirt. Is there still a stop of alcohol drings on 11pm? And if yes have the bars open longer? What is the actual state?

Bangla Closes at 11pm. These days they are strict. A few weeks ago rules could be bend. Now Alcohol after 11 only at King Kong to my knowledge. Day by day they will start to bend again. There is always a secret spot and I don't mean a private villa. I can't say too much, you probably understand.

Hi Al - Phuket is full of people right now, Patong, Kata, Karon and Rawai all busy. Plenty of good times here and I love it. I think 99 percent of people will like it now. It can get worse though, but for now its so good.

Hi Iasc - Accommodation is still cheaper. All the rest is pretty much the same. Not more expensive, maybe a little cheaper also, but not much.

@@Sam-uc8ck I also stay and live in Patong, Nanai 8. That is sick! - im not getting anywhere near any tests! Don't want to risk your situation and I hear that a lot.. So they are ruining your holiday and you also have to pay for quarantine right? Or is it just staying home at your own hotel?

@@ninemedia-thailand2500 you have to shift to a quarantine Hospitel= hotel + hospital .The packages start from 65000 baht to 120000 baht for 10 days and the worst part is that insurance can't be claimed unless you are admitted to a genuine hospital.fortunately all the quarantine Hospitels were full so Sheraton allowed me to isolate for 3500 baht per night.

@@cinnabull Thank you bro. I shoot in 4K 25fps - but render the project in 1080p. Im surprised you know about frame rates. I wish I had 4K 60 8-10bit so I could slow some footage down. Daytime my favourite is 100fps with ND-filter to shoot at f2.0-2.8

Phuket walking street i is not even half the walking street of pattaya but still standing. They destroyed Pattaya walking street but I hope the same thing doesn't happen to Phuket

Thank you. I get your point, but 1. Being on Bangla Road is not a crime. I see people relaxing and having fun - what do you see? 2. How will their parents up north come across my videos. 99 percent don't speak English and if they are not actively searching for Bangla Road on youtube they will never know. And Know what? I don't judge everyone I see on Bangla Road, but maybe you do? Im an xrp holder myself. Cheers
