Track name: Stationary Tutorial
Stationaries are very difficult to first learn, so I made this video in the hopes to teach up-and-coming ninjas how to do them and master it. Remember to practice this move often when first attempting it, one day it'll click and you'll be passing ninja lvl 4+ tracks like it's nothing.
Let me know in the comments other techniques or tracks I should talk about, and if you enjoy these types of videos like/subscribe.
The Trials Rising Anniversary (TRA) track building competition is about two weeks away (Deadline: March 13th, 2020). bit.ly/2tRSlNf

As I've been looking up more and more videos recently, I've found that University is great for getting from novice to intermediate or bottom tier pro. But I've found your videos insanely helpful to get from intermediate to mid level pro. You break it down, and more importantly slow it down, so everyone can see it step by step. It makes it easier to understand what needs to be done. Actually replicating it is another story, but seeing it done like that is extremely helpful. Now getting from pro to paragon... that's something that only very few can hope to reach. But we can try.

Thank you for making the track and the video, one can see that you really thought about the best ways to show/practise the stationary. I have definitely learned a thing or two and I really appreciate your effort. Please make more of these in the future.

One big thing is that the Mantis being way more blocky than the Viper. So it's a lot easier to perform them in Rising and transitioning back to Fusion is way tougher imo. Could just be me. Great tutorial

Leaning back and holding the break to start the stationary isn’t working
@Doughnut_3000
@Doughnut_3000 3 жыл бұрын
Just keep practicing and watching replays of others do it. You’ll get it down eventually, but it’s very difficult to learn the proper timing.

So, small question. The last checkpoint (the hop to fw) Is it similar in Fusion, since this is one of the technique I really suck at atm
@Doughnut_3000
@Doughnut_3000 4 жыл бұрын
Yeah all of these moves are similar to fusion, I probably should’ve talked about that at the beginning. These moves are universal across trials, I’m not sure about the older installments like HD and flash games, but in general it’s the same motion with different timing. Stationaries are much easier in fusion and evolution because the bike feels lighter imo, and it’s apparent because of how much more height you can get in those games.

Thanks for the video doughnut its helping, but when I do them most of the time I end up moving backwards. Do you have any advice?
@Doughnut_3000
@Doughnut_3000 4 жыл бұрын
There’s two things that might help you from falling back. #1: You’re leaning to far backwards on your hops. Try to land so the bike is at a 45 degree angle, there needs to be a lot of balance incorporated while doing stationaries and finding that balance requires a good angle. #2: Not using enough gas. Now I’m not saying to go full throttle, but you might need to hold gas down for a split second longer. It’s a little burst of speed as you let go of brake while leaning forward. I hope this helps.

@@Doughnut_3000 Thanks for the response and I think I'm getting slowly but still rolling backwards so I'm gonna try the things you suggested. I have got pretty good at the first cp in your track but the second is kicking my ass, that's where rolling back is a problem.
@Doughnut_3000
@Doughnut_3000 4 жыл бұрын
RoaringTom I just made an ez version with more space to practice, a couple extra cps, and the helium is enabled as well if you want to try that.
