Ninja 400 Tire Change

2 жыл бұрынRode my stock tires down to the cords, so time for some fresh rubber. This is my first time breaking beads and it was not easy in the slightest. I did come across the service manual though so I've got everything torqued down right. Can't wait to see how these new tires feel leaned over!

For taking off the old tire I use a shovel - works fantastic - give it a try for the upcoming set of tires

I also moved up One size on both tires. I purchased a set of Pirelli Diablo Rosso IV, sweet tire perfect size. Bike feels bigger in a good way.

I'm going to purchase same new Pirelli Diablos you got they just are best bang for that $200 and look cooler on the bike . I'm looking to replace my old dunlop flip flop rear tire

Is that a real nitrous setup. And if so what internals do you have and if you don't have any internals does that bike actually handle it. And how big a shot of nitrous if it is real

You could have used Tire Balancing Ceramic Beads 1 oz Front + 2 oz Rear do away with lead weights

@najibuilt I usually just keep my thoughts to myself but, I believe you accidentally mounted the front tire backwards. The pattern is supposed to be reverse from rear.

Yeaaaaa, I did. Excellent eye! I'll fix it someday, but in my research it only effects water evacuation from the tire under braking and I don't ride in the rain.

@@newportcity32 yeah I believe that’s the only real reason. I wonder if there are any other aspects impacted by the way the tire is mounted. Anyways keep up the good work.

@@slenderman6927 they look like the same mirrors. I have a 2018. When I switched them around, they got more swept back so they didn't look like antlers. I read somewhere a ninja 300s mirrors would fit too, they're much shorter.

None at all. I have a good inch from the tire to the closest parts of the swing-arm. The bike sits a bit taller but I ran my previous pair down to the cords so it just took a bit of getting used to. Handling is butter smooth now

Why would you put bigger tires on the bike?😂 it just slows it down. And do t tell me it doesn’t it absolutely will especially on a low HP bike like the 400.

I was breaking the sound barrier and couldn't hear my music over the boom. I figured I could sacrafice a few MPH for a little more rubber on bike that's definitely not being built for parking lots. You're gonna love the "Ninja 400 Bigger sprocket" video.

Scratched up the rim 🤮 just take it to the shop please 🙏. I wouldn’t do 120 mph on a tyre I fitted. Would anyone else ????
