This is so cool. The beginning of the first track reminds me of like an intro to a 80's B Movie. Like where they would show the skyline of the city as the title comes up, then swiftly cut to the hero speeding through the city in either a sport car, police car, or motorcycle heh. And yes, it does also sound like an anime theme.

The Jaquiao Theme form 27:04 - 30:11, is my favorite theme of the Ninja Gaiden II: Dark Sword of Chaos Soundtrack. There are many cool themes in this soundtrack, but Jaquaio's Theme pumps me up.

Nice, but my favorite track isn't on here. Overdrive, why no mix of that? I love the guitar in that track.

Wow. This is... bad. So bad. Tracks 2-6 sound like they reworked the tracks to fit perfectly during the ending credits of any bad ‘80s action movie. One of the more bizarre things that stood out in those tracks is the “oom-pah-pah” intro to Parasprinter. It clashes so much with its source material (and, you know, the “sprinting” thing). “The Dark Emperor”, oddly enough, sounds like it could be inserted into Final Fantasy 7, but more in a joking manner to introduce some comical villain that you’re not supposed to take seriously (must be the gongs). “Lord of Night”, one of my favorite tracks in the game itself, wasn’t great to begin with on this arrangement... and then came the screeching guitar solo. That was horrendous. “Irene and Ryu” wasn’t terrible, but because it’s one of the non-looping tracks in the game, it just seems to go on for too long. The only passable track on this arrangement is “A Long Way To Go”. This is probably because they were so good at making the other tracks sound like bad ending credits tracks that they were in their element when working with the ACTUAL ending credits track. Best part of this whole arrangement? When they played the clips from the game itself. I’m pretty critical about any arrangement or remix of the Ninja Gaiden soundtracks (I refuse to ever play the Trilogy on SNES again for that reason) because of how great I find the originals to be, so this is all just how I feel.
