If they couldn't remaster the other games then they need to just Do a remake on all the games..this series deserves it

I only played the first one when it was a newer game. I loved it! It was super hard though specially as a young kid.

Its been 10 years and idk if I'm ready to beat my head against the wall that is Ninja Gaiden again.. But it's great I have the option!

OG Ninja Gaiden 2 was one of my favorite games back on the 360. I managed to beat it on Master Ninja after many, many painful hours and with the help of Seraphim17's video guides and I'll never forget it. I won't be picking up this collection because it doesn't really seem to add anything (Rather, seems to just take stuff away) and it uses the inferior Sigma versions of 1 and 2, but that being said... if you've never played these games and you like action games like Devil May Cry or you love a high level of challenge like Dark Souls, then these games are a must play.

The fact that the games don't have graphical settings menu and that we have to change stuff in Steam's property settings is fuckin incredible.

This game was a necessary part of my development as a man. And I broke a vcr over the double turtle boss fight.

I was ranked 13th in black. Then top ten in the weapon trials in Sigma. Series deserves the utmost love and actual remake.

It has been specifically mentioned that these games are NOT A REMASTER but rather a port with resolution settings. I wish people would do some research before uploading videos.

The originals NG, Black and NG2, are my favorite games, ever, so I was disappointed they did not include them in this collection but I understand why. Something about the source code or something not being available. I bought the collection for the PS5 because NG3 RE is not Enhanced for the X1X, Series X consoles which I have the original games on. I started playing NG1S and NG2S in this collection and quickly discovered that I prefer the original enhanced games, in their original form, so I will continue playing 1 and 2 on my Series X, and play NG3 RE from this collection. Every fan should enjoy this collection.

Nina Gaiden Sugma: Balls

One of my favourite video game memories is playing Ninja Gaiden on XBox. Completing that game was nails. An achievement. An amazing game. I never finished part 2 and never played any since. Might be time to dive back in to the whole series.

These games taught me what it means to get angry. Before playing these games back in the day getting angry playing games was never me and it still isn't. To this day these are the only games to make me get angry.

Ah the camera, my old nemesis, we meet again

Only the original NG3 is kind of relatively bad, because it had no leveling system, the whole game gave you only one type of weapon, sword ,and only one ninpo to finish the game with, it became tedious after certain play time. But razor edge fixed that problem. Overall, this series is a master piece, I love them all, it’s definitely a must buy item for me.😃

After playing black, ninja gaiden 2, and razors edge. Of course I got the master collection overall I’m having a blast and it looks decent for a port and the little differences are awkward at times like weapon upgrades but I quickly felt accustomed to it, some new and extra bosses after fights were pretty fun and of course brutal made me learn movesets, essence is pretty much useless with the abundance of healing items and save locations make game feel a little easier about to beat mentor and move to master ninja on ngs2. If you’re a die hard fan missing one of the games from your collection it’s worth it someone new to the franchise it’s worth it if you already have all these games and play them already it’s not really worth it IMO. I have black and razors edge already only reason I purchased it was to get ninja gaiden 2 back its not in my collection anymore and it’s still 30$ on market ten$ more for 2 more games so I grabbed it, Razors edge has the nightmare fiend costume included and I love it has another fighter costume to looks good.

I just can't get over the lack of blood and gore in sigma 2. It was such a dumb design decision to use the purple mist.

One thing to notice is that ins't the Sigma versions of the first two games that got ported and remastered, despite being named just Sigma. It was the Sigma Plus versions from PS Vita, it contain all it's extras.

I remember playing the first two games on ps3. Found them incredibly hard...

As a Series X owner, I feel lucky to have access to Xbox original title, Ninja Gaiden Black. It's still the best way to play the original NG, and in 4k/60fps, it's pretty much remastered.

Cyberpunk couldn't even do wall-running but this game had it for decades

For some people that are complaining that 1&2 aren't the original versions.. Did you people not read or watch the interview before this released? It clearly stated they didn't do anything to the game but update the resolution. Other than that they are still the sigma versions. If you didn't like sigma 1&2 back then, then you won't like them now and they also clearly stated they decided not to add multiplayer because it would have taken too much time to get it working properly so it was left out to focus on single player. Yes NG black and NG II are superior versions. But it's like some people brought this because it said ninja gaiden and complained because its not the best versions and for sigma II I'm just seeing SO many complaints about lack of blood, which I heard they added a day one patch (still waiting on my copy to arrive) it just feels like alot of people played the original 1&2 , skipped the sigmas, and brought the master collection and was disappointed. And plus not everyone is good at ninja gaiden and can finish the game on the hardest difficulty without getting hit and can solve puzzles instantly, me being included, so I'm fine with the sigma releases. Plus I'm sure they will update the game over time. This is the era of devs releasing unfinished buggy products and just updating them as time progresses.

what the ppl dont know about ninja gaiden black is that it hangs before you fight any boss especially the airship

Damn the nostalgia is strong in this one. People if you haven't played this series do yourselves a favor and play it. One of the greats.

I dont see much of a "remaster" when I play the game. They really did nothing to change it. In fact sigma felt super super wonky at times when I played it. Just started playin sigma 2 last night, and that feels alot better.

Just a camera tip I always used since the first game. I assigned the right trigger (center camera) I did this so much I eventually stopped noticing I was doing it and it just became a rhythm game. It is what it is, how can we expect a camera to follow the games lightning fast combat. Especially in 2004 and 2008. I thought Razor's Edge was better but still not perfect but again at 60fps and doing amazing 35 hit ultimate technique at just the perfect time is still so much fun and FUCK GHOST FISH!!!!

LOVED this game back in the day. it kicked my ass till i learned how to kick its ass... it was great. that said i still find it VERY hard to pay the 45$ theyre asking for it. i can get it cheaper other places and since its not really a remaster, why would i wanna pay more for barely any upgrades?

I can remember renting the first game and just being so incredibly frustrated with it. I was not patient enough then so I'm excited to truly experience the games now.

Sorry, the lack of gore in NG2 just kills it for me. I can’t do it. Luckily, I have an xbox 1 x and still have my copy of NG2, microsoft practically remastered it in their own already.

I played Ninja Gaiden on the Xbox as a kid. It was hard but the only real struggle I had with it was the fight against the sexy demon lady! I played that game over and over again. I am going to get the master collection for sure and I hope they continue Ninja Gaiden.

this is the snes port all over again, a piece of shit, history repeats itself and i was so excited for this, but to see NG2 in this state ? hell no....

ninja gaiden is a franchise that deserve more attention. a netflix original would be awesome to revitalize interest in the series again.

The original ninja gaiden 2 and ninja gaiden black have all been enhanced over on Xbox. In my opinion they look better and they already run at 60fps. Not gonna bother with part 3.

In the ninja gaiden sigma 2 can you select any character for all chapters? For example can you play as Momiji in the first chapter of the game, as opposed to their own chapters in the original game?

But how does perform on switch? I wanna have this on the go. But also on my xbox series S.

Is keyboard and mouse supported on NG 3 of this collection ?

Shame that Ninja Gaiden 2 has been lost, the sigma version is way way neutered by comparison.

I'm a big NG 1+2 fan and was hoping to get NGB and NG2 for PC instead of the annoying Sigma versions. But that's not the worst part... the PC version is just utter crap unfortunately and done with even less care than some bad ports from 10 years ago.

They could of at least added a new difficulty mode above Master Ninja in Sigma 2, making it closer to the original, maybe not as exaggerated but some where in between and not make enemies damage sponges, it's like I'm hitting them with a wooden katana ffs.

I'm disappointed that they didn't put in more effort, but I'll probably get this for my XboxOneX in a few years. My backlog demands all my attention. I'd buy this on PS4 pro, but I don't think I can earn the platinum. Too much of a time investment.

Its got sigma 2 instead of the better vanilla version so it's an automatic no.

Ninja Gaiden Black was one of the best games I've ever played. This is spoiled Sigma (for example in Sigma every single puzzle was removed don't know why), but having Ninja Gaiden on PC is awesome anyway. And about lack of keyboard and mouse support: I have no idea how to play Ninja Gaiden with mouse and keyboard. It is not Blade of Darkness, the whole game was built for gamepad from the ground up.

Is there a physical disk for the collection or the only way to get it is digital?

Its not a remaster . Its just a collection. As a huge NG fan, i bought this day 1 . Sure its not the originals versions of NG 1 or 2, but thats why i held on to my original copies. While I do have sigma 1 and 2 on PS3 I would buy anything NG or DOA.

For me the only downside is the gore sensor in sigma 2 however my hope is this boosts a reboot or maybe even a NG4 idc I just want more these are amazing hack and slash games if they make more I don't want another nioh from team ninja its a great game all 3 yes even 3 while its lacking in story the combat has never been more crisp the combos in 3 are so fluid

Im a huge fan NGB and NG2 but might wait for a sale on this one since im disappointed the original NG2 is not here the enemy placement was better and sigma is way to easy even on the harder difficulty thats already unlocked
