Y'all dont understand that literally hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of people joined the server and started blasting NSFW images. Yeah, the server had to be nuked. And if you watched the stream you'd know that he's still chill with Speed. He's upset of course, but he said it's not that big of a deal ultimately. He also said he was going to have his manager reach out to Discord to see what they can do. I would be upset too if I lost a Discord server that had Drake and Marshmello in it.

This is why ESPECIALLY IF THAT MANY IMPORTANT PEOPLE ARE IN IT you should always have invites set to usable once, or ones that expire after 30 minutes or something. Invite links are heavily customizable.

@SL3ND3R let me make one thing clear to you and to everyone else who may think my initial comment is me blaming ninja. It's not, Speed is 100% at fault. I just own discord servers for my friends and the first thing we worry about is privacy. Not just because of our own people, but if someone gets hacked, and they're allowed to create invites, it opens the server up to raiding. Invites are too configurable to let that happen.

the server literally had 2 general chat and 6 vcs, thats all, u just have to delete it and make a new one, it takes less time to delete the server instead of maiing every channel invisible. By that time they could have scrolled the chats and got private infos, think deeper. The only way to prevent this from happening is they shouldve made the invite link one use only.

Bro they did not have to delete the server. It's actually so fucking uncanny how easy it is to stop a raid. You literally just quickly go to the roles tab, general permissions and clear permissions, save. Boom, nobody can do shit after that. Then you just spend time clearing the server and invites and then you have your server back.

All Ninja had to do was remove the invite and remove all permissions to read messages / send messages. Then after that everyone could be kicked and each channel could either be cleaned or cloned. Brother think from every perspective not only yours, nuking the server was the best option. Imagine all the chats and personal info in that discord which could've gotten leaked if he kept the discord up for a while. Take into account marshmallow for example, no one really knows his actual identity, imagine if people can find something on him through his discord profile. That also goes for other pros and the other celebrities as well. It could've been easily avoided if he sent a one time invite link to speed.
