You have to have a lot of patience to listen to something like this. But it's better than anything being released commercially right now.

Let me start by saying that I understand what you mean, but when you say "released commercially" you realise you're talking about everything that you're supposed to buy? Hence the word commercial. Not to be a douchebag, it's just getting a tad old and somewhat tiresome. There's nothing wrong with people trying to make money, just like there's nothing wrong with people that like generic, pop music played on the radio every second :) After all, music is something subjective. If you happen to like something particular (like we both subscribed to Ninja Tune), just enjoy that and hope the artists you like make enough money to keep developing and producing :)

The Killer His Vanilla Yes. That's my point. It's better than all the mass-manufactured trite dross you're supposed to buy. POP is not a genre either. It's a term given to music now that they want to sell a lot of. It's all business now. I don't really believe in genres anyway. And find it pathetic how people care more about the genre than the music. I don't believe it's "subjective" either. Sorry, but POP is something people listen to before they develop tastes. I don't know what to eat.. I'll just live on McDonalds corporate shit. Everyone gets all irate when ever I talk about "Real Music" vs. Product Music; but that doesn't diminish the fact that you'll NEVER get a 12 minute long POP song, or a POP song in 7/8, or a POP instrumental, etc. It's sad to admit it.. but artists used to get POPular on artistic merit. Supper's Ready is 26 minutes long, All You Need is Love has a 7/8 time signature, The Shadows performed instrumentals... all GONE. So have some fucking balls & tell it like it is, & stick up for hard working artists locked out of the industry they should be headlining. Hope aint gona do shit to help them eat!

KINDLE With ''hope'' I meant it more in the way that you should hope that you're not the only one supporting them, like you said to stick up for hard working artists and ''hope'' you're not the only one doing it. I thought that was somewhat obvious. but apparently I was wrong :). And although we disagree on the subjective part, I can understand (and respect) where you're coming from. Other than that, we aren't supposed to buy anything. We all make our own decisions on what we spend our money on. I think we both agree on a lot of things regarding this, my only annoyance is (again IMHO) the wrong terminology I keep reading in your messages. I'll stop now because I realise I'm being a punctilious fucker :) Good day to you!!!!

It's a 12" not a CD so yeah, 2 songs... yet ;)

Well it's a vinyl size. at 45 rpm you can only put a few tracks on it. It's usually used for EPs and maxis. At 33 1/3 RPM you can put about an hour of music and it's used for LPs.

thanks again for your patient :) good to know, cause I wasnt so sure about that. Back to the music I like vinyl sound of recording but, sadly, I have no gramophone what means I prefer to have standard CD format. If they put out an CD version I would buy it blindly!

A lot of the projects that Kevin Martin and Justin K Broadrick were involved with played with bass and inventing new sounds. Check them all out, God, Ice, Terminal Cheesecake, Curse of the Golden Vampire et al. They’re all really good in their own way.
