btw the danganronpa studio has gone into debt making the hundred line. they've really enjoyed making it and the main producer decided to just drop the game so instead of canceling it they were like 'nah we'll take out a loan to get this baby finished and have fun.' so hopefully the game does well because if not, the studio will most likely go under.

The NWC game had been announced everywhere, I believe. My guess is that they were originally planning to save the announcement for this Direct, but then people noticed that the ESRB website had a listing for it already posted, so they had to get something official out fast.

I was already excited when they showed a new Mario and Luigi game coming our way, and I’m intrigued by the new Mario Party and Zelda games, but an Ace Attorney Investigations collection?! First the Great Ace Attorney duology got an official English release, and now Investigations 2 is getting one? Sweet!

Hey Tom, like they specified in the message, DQ3 time-wise happened before 1 and 2 so story is best experienced in the order of 3, 1 and then 2 to get the full Erdrick story in order.

I suspect there will be a Fall Direct where they formally announce the Switch 2, as well as Metroid Prime 2 (& maybe 3) Remaster, possibly even doing a shadow drop like they did with MP 1.

That was Sylux that showed up in Prime 4, another Hunter, he was in Prime Hunters on DS and at the end of Prime 3. He was following Samus at the end of Prime 3.

I for one can't wait to turn Zelda into the worlds most powerful Necromancer and save Hyrule with an army of Redeads and potentially StalBoys.

Sadly I’m not likely to play any of these new announcements except for Prime 4, I am SO HYPED for that one!

The thing thats wild for me is how they had a Direct this stacked in whar everyone assumed was goinf to be a prerty dire drought period for the Switch. What all are they cooking for Switch 2 if they have this much in the pipeline for Switch?

incidentally, if you've never played a SaGa game, they're really interesting. the battles appear to be simple turn-based, but there are systems stacked on systems stacked on etc, etc... if you wanted to check one out, I'd recommend either SaGa: Scarlet Grace or SaGa: Emerald Beyond, both of which are available on the Switch or Steam. Scarlet Grace is an upscale of a Vita game from 2016, and is a lot of fun. Emerald Beyond just came out back in April, and I haven't gotten a chance to check it out yet. It's the first new SaGa game since Scarlet Grace came out, so there was a lot of excitement for it.

40:58 Between you and AntDude, I don’t get why people thought this was a Prime 2 remake after the Gunship appears. The Gunship in Prime 2 is the same as the Gunship in Prime 1 (is the same as the Gunship in Samus Returns, Super, and the prologue of Fusion, so it’s not a new Gunship every time. Plus Fusion’s and Dread’s are the same). Also the Gunship in Prime 2 doesn’t fly off unlike the one here because it was damaged in an atmospheric storm during its descent and needs the entirety of the game to perform auto-repairs. Also Samus doesn’t land in the middle of an active combat zone in Prime 2. That’s closer to Prime 3. About the only thing in common Prime 4 seems to have with Prime 2 is the look of the Missile Launcher in both games. Otherwise everything else from the HUD to the environments are different.

Theres already a Lego set of the Tallneck from Horizon, which are like giant giraffes with radar dish heads. They are one of the many reasons why I personally feel Horizon stands out from typical open world trope, cause they are literally the towers, and clombing each one is a trial or puzzle.

Man, remember when the "E3 season" was pretty much a wash? When Keeley said "don't expect anything mind blowing" from SGF? Well, apparently Nintendo took that personally. There is SO MUCH from this direct I'm excited for. The new Zelda looks freaking AWESOME. While I don't play Dangan Ronpa, it's interesting to see a game centered around the forces of Hope, rather than what the Forces of Despair are doing. I'm still not a fan of how Mario & Luigi transitioned to 3D, the art style just feels... off to me. But I DON'T CARE, NEW MARIO AND LUIGI GAME! Four swords on NSO would be fun to play with friends, shame I only have one to play with at best. Metroid Prime 4, a cool looking Mario Party, etc etc. OH RIGHT, Fantazia: Neo Dimension, that whole "aiming" mechanic, and dimension pocket is going to make grinding exp SO MUCH fun for me. This direct was STACKED. It's funny to realize the only disappointing announcements are the Lego Horizon game, another Just Dance, and a Looney Toons sports game.

People are 100% gonna be super reluctant to accept the new official names for Investigations 2-now dubbed "Prosecutor's Gambit", by the way. Already saw very upset reactions towards the few we know of, including Eddie Fender (Raymond Shields), Eustace Winner (Sebastian Debeste), and Knight & Rook (Knightley & Rooke, obviously). EDIT: I stand corrected. "Very upset" is kind of an understatement when describing the general stance on Eustace in particular.

I strongly feel like the new Zelda game wasn't made as a Zelda game. Zelda already has pre-established magic, but they gave her something completely different for the first time you get to play as her and centered the game around it? I feel like it would have been better as a standalone game
