I’m just happy the Mario & Luigi series is back, it is my favorite Mario RPG series of all time and I can’t wait to see what this new game offers and to finally see it on a home console of all things (even though it’s a hybrid of both home and portable console) is honestly pretty mind blowing!

@-God_Usopp Nah, that was Switch gameplay because Metroid Prime remastered released on the same system, and that game looks beautiful, and it also has the switch logo. plus, Retro studios are tech wizards!

@@-God_Usopp There are three possibilities: Option 1: Pokémon legends A-Z is the launch title Option 2: Metroid Prime 4 is the launch title Option 3: Both games are going to be cross gen and Nintendo will save a big game for launch title.

Turns out motion controls are optional in Super Mario Party 2! The motion control minigames only show up if everyone's playing with joy-con now, while everyone can do the button minigames, supposedly.

I mean, they do seem to take into account what the largest amount of fans want. Some of these are clearly also passion projects. But, as a corporate entity, they still have to prioritize profit. It just so happens that Nintendo fans will pay for what they want.

For Brothership, I'm pretty sure you're spot on with the electricity theme! Connie looks like a plug, the "Extension Corps" are probably a play on extension *cord* , and the members of said Corps all look like various amps and plug-ins, not to mention Snoutlet: Their (his?) tail *also* looks like a plug, and there's *outlet* in the name!

The Brothers are back in THEIR game. I remember when I finally realized in the OG Superstar Saga that every mentor was also a pair of brothers, it was so good. I wonder if they'll do that again here when teaching M&L new moves.

The Switch is like, the home of Mario RPGs. We've got Brothership on the horizon, Superstar Saga and the OG Paper Mario are available via NSO, and we got remakes of the original Mario RPG and TTYD. Not to mention we got Origami King

That Mario and Luigi opening really caught me off guard (in a good way!); only played Superstar too. That new Zelda game was also a surprise, though, honestly, I’m not interested. Finally, Metroid Prime 4: you know it’s a big deal when everyone else is talking about it! The music in the end was beautiful; so ambient and serene.

The announcement of a mario and luigi game had me jump out of my seat and I was at my grandmas place fixing up her new phone watching the direct on my own phone on the side. Absolutely thought the series to be dead after the last games selling terribly and alphadream being dead. Brothership is what got me so EXCITED BC my significant other and I LOVE the Mario & Luigi games so much. I've played the 1st Superstar Saga, Partners in Time, Bowser's Inside Story AND Dream Team and just had a blast. I think Paper Jam was skipped for me but that might have been bc Paper Mario Sticker Star soured my love for a bit, but having another entry (despite Alpha Dream dying) is simply amazing and s/o and I are gonna have a blast with it when it comes out

Im very easily hyped the most for the new mario and luigi game because i grew up loving those games that i did know about even if i didnt get to play most of them much and i honestly was focusing on it so hard during the direct because the only other ones i was happy about/ was actually gonna buy was the new zelda game and possibly luigis mansion 2 remake thingy coming out on my birthday

The funniest part of the M&L trailer for me is about 2 weeks ago, I saw a trailer for an M&L fan-game (Chronicle Hunters) that feels like it wears its inspiration on its sleeve, in the same way Pizza Tower and Bug Fables did It's got the same vibes as the OG Superstar Saga (complete with being sprite-based) but I'm still happy to see a new team taking over Alpha Dream's role with this Direct

I've seen stuff like that the makers are the same people that did the RPG remake. And a good chunk of AlphaDream just work for Nintendo and other companies they have Apparently the main director works in MonolithSoft so A.D is still around.

7:00 One of the official websites confirmed that the new Mario Party will let you play with pro controllers (or with a switch lite) as well and said the motion control minigames are disabled for online play so there's seemingly no forced motion controls, and they may be completely optional

I am really curious what weapons will be in Metroid Prime 4 Beyond. The hud suggests that your missile system will not always be an active weapon, but that you will swap between missiles and other weapon types.

I am hyped, especially for Echoes of Wisdom and Brothership. But I have to ask, does anyone else find the shading on Brothership weird with the back of Mario’s cap being… blue?

Mario Party should be the first time we hear Kevin’s Waluigi voice. Also it’s apparently not forced motion control thankfully

Besides the big 4 games shown, I’m ULTRA excited for the Dragon Quest Remakes! I’m a huge fan of the franchise but admittedly I never played the first three and I think this is gonna be a great way to experience them. That game Mio also caught my attention, the combat seems super fluid and fun.
