I feel Switch is the only one of the 3 consoles truly worth owning. PC gaming is best, but Nintendo has the best console of this generation hands down. XBox has the worst.

The reason i won't buy Nintendo's stuff anymore is because im tired of being ripped off. Few hundred for another console, $100 for a game, $100 dollars for a controller, the controllers suck. Ill stick to an "expensive" PC where im free to customize and mod things and games are a fair price.

Again; it has already been found by other sites; that the external tranlation company is supposed to ask and provide the list of individuals to Nintedo; and when they don't Nintendo just give a general credit to the company.

I cut Nintendo off after the Yuzu situation. I'm not going to say never again because they do make some incredible games, and I'm not the strongest willed person. But where they stand now, their unique games are about the only reason to buy from them. Portable gaming has gotten extremely popular and viable across many different devices since the Switch came out, and I think the Switch 2 is going to be up against some hard, hard competition. Add in the problems they have keeping customers attached to their digital purchases and comparing that to the Steam Deck, and I just don't see the value in giving money to a company that either hates me, or only wants me to enjoy the games I bought on their terms. It sucks since I grew up with Nintendo since the NES, and the Switch is a great console and definitely the biggest complement to my library off of consoles, but I still have to swear them off while they are being like this. Gatcha games on my phone treat me nicer than them.

I haven't really played the Switch the entire time everyone else was going nuts over it, I was just waiting for the next big Pokemon game or the next big Zelda title, but we never really got any good Pokemon titles, other than maybe Legends Arceus? but that wasn't enough to get me to buy the next generation of games... I did eventually cave and bought myself a Switch Lite and a couple games I thought I might play, stuff like the available Zelda titles, Metroid titles, etc, but I still haven't really touched the thing, just more games in my backlog that I might not ever get around to playing... and then the Zelda we finally ended up getting was just a sequel to the first game I still haven't played (I only started Breath of the Wild on Wii U recently, and there's so much to do there's no way I'm ready to move on to the sequel... lol...)

$20 to play online and still having bad servers

I feel like Nintendo won this console generation.

Don't forget they intentionally make subscription base and people likes to own games on the switch so they use the Netflix routes.

It could of been a completely over sight at the time personally when i saw a post about metroid they talked about the older cast to be fair even if they did talk about 99% of people wouldn't care or event pay attain i dont read credits myself ive played 10000s of games and i couldnt tell you a single name of anyone that has ever made a game.

Nintendo are awful. They have attacked to many fan devs. Mosting recently shutting down a website that made nintendo fan art. It's disgusting. It's proof that copyright does not exist to protect creators at all but is just another tool for big corporations to reinforce their domination. Nintendo is not at all in any way threatened by a hobbyist making a fan game. The worst part is that many people think this is perfectly okay. I think it shows a deeper cultural issue we have. I understand nintendo going after people distributing their games in piracy, but shutting down an emulator is also disgusting. This is a piece of software that was reverse engineered. They want to make their games harder to access so they can control the artform. Then there is that they are destroying gaming history by shutting down access to old games. Understandable that they aren't going to host these stores forever but if they aren't going to provide, why do they not allow anyone else to? If you applied these actions to other mediums, like books or movies, people would be appalled. But in videogames this behaviour is allowed.

I never buy modern remakes, because they keep changing things like dialogue, characters, scenes... Removing every little thing that made the original so memorable. I can't support that. Why remake games, if not to experience the original masterpiece, but to "censor" it for the "modern audience?" I'll never support anything for the "modern audience." The term "for modern audience," is just code for *there's some woke $h!t in the game.* I'll pass 😒 I think the reason nlntendo is doing this &h!t, is because they don't want other company scouting their employees... (I can't think of any other reasons right now)
