The Switch Eshop won’t close until 2029-2030 😂 they still have a lot of year support The successor probably will appear in 2024

I swear this is exactly what we were told last time. Hey everyone, Nintendo here, our scientist guys are always constantly thinking and developing new hardware and ideas for the future of Nintendo over the years but our main goal is always to provide users with a new experience.

2023 will probably be the year Remember In 2020 they announced that the switch was halfway through its lifespan and 2020 was the 3rd year of the switch so 2020+ a extra 3 years is 6 years in total

@@ultra64dx77 I was honestly think they would announce it in late 2022 or early 2023 and the console will be released in mid to late 2023 idk about 2024 it feels too late and contradicts what they said when they said the switch is halfway through its lifespan

Late 2024 will probably the time. Nintendo said since the beginning that the Switch will last between 6 and 7 years. Due to the huge success, Nintendo started to talk about the possibility of extending the lifecycle of the Switch in 2020, so it could last even beyond 2024.

@@NLGSHUFFLE year 6 will be 2023 year 7 will be 2024 and I don't see the switch continuing in 2024 especially late 2024 mid 2023 or late 2023 is much more possible I just really don't see 2024 being a possible for the successor because 1 A lot of people have theorize that the switch will end in 2023 IGN and other sources 2 in the 2020 they said it's halfway through their lifespan so 2023 should be the year I don't see 2024 because that's not half that's more than a half 2020 + 3 equals 2023 2020 + 4 equals 2024 so that would make no sense because 2020 was a third-year like I said yes they probably did say they wanted to extend it in 2020 but I feel like 2024 just feel so out of place especially because most consoles of Nintendo last / 5 or six years even the we only lasted only 6 years and before the switch wii was the best selling console I don't think any other console has lasted seven years

I 2nd that hopefully that the Hybrid console model WILL DEFINITELY NOT ditch because that's the smartest thing Nintendo has done ever lately with gaming.

I know some people are concerned about the upcoming console and the Switch's lifespan, but Nintendo is being honest here like two years ago. The Switch was pretty much in the middle of its lifespan but Nintendo didn't think this system would still sell like hotcakes after 5 years. They always plan a new console right after revealed the previous console (Nintendo was working on the Switch since the Wii U was released). So they're keeping their new system secret until the Switch sells less and less before revealing it along with some launch titles that were also planned along with the new console.

I am glad that crunchy roll is coming to the switch. Hopefully we will get Netflix and Hulu soon. To be honest I feel like the switch successor will be backwards compatible with the switch and have graphics comparable to the PS4

Hulu was the first streaming app on there, in fact. Only 5 months after launch, iirc. And it has all the stuff that the Xbox and PC apps have (Live TV, multiple accounts, etc). If only Netflix gets off their arses...
