Is it a first party official Nintendo controller or a 3rd party controller?

@@SvennyMcGey I have the same problem but I think mine is a third party contoller cause It connects to laptop,phone and my switch but it isn't the standark black one like yours so I think it is a third party controller

I have two Pro Controllers and it's not updating. I have the standard black and the Smash Bros Edition and none of them it's updating. Wireless it stuck 0% forever.

It tries to actually update but won't? Is there a chance they are already up to date?

@SvennyMcG doesn't have ideia. It shows the updating bar progress but does not fill up the bar to 100%. In fact, it is still 0% for hours. It's my first time with Pro Controllers, but my Joy-Cons update messages are different: When I turn on only Joy-Cons, it says: "All controllers are up to date" But if I turn off all Joy-Cons and turn on all Pro Controllers (2 different controllers), it shows the bar progress updating, but it got stuck at 0% when I try to perform the update wirelessly. And if I try to update using a wire it says the exactly message as it shows for you.

Okay, well if both work without issue I'd say you're in good shape for now 👍 main thing is that your controllers continue to work without any concerns 🎮

Why did it show that message? Was your pro controller a counterfeit one?

I believe my Xeno one is a knock off - I got it locally in a bundle and didn't buy it myself but I wager that it isn't official

@@SvennyMcG But you did manage to update one of your Pro controllers firmware, didn't you? At least the genuine one, I guess?

That's correct, I have a standard black Nintendo Pro Controller that was also updated 👍

@@SvennyMcG What happens if you try to update the genuine one when it's already updated? Does the system show a different message or also a misleading "some controllers cannot be updated"? Thank you so much for your replies.

@@dezraj340 of course! 😊 I don't recall word for word at this time but I believe you essentially get a pop up saying "This controller is up to date", something like that
