*PS3 orchestral musical OS intro* was classy. It felt like that unique imprint you get from Sony Japan games development (consider the concept that Sony game hardware has always used custom OS layers - never a pure Linux or Windows/Direct X distro -- like Dreamcast or old school Xbox to their current day, the Windows/D3D kernel-based console. Even Nintendo's Switch OS has more latent Linux distro vs. custom extensions. So, don't forget Sony went as far as initially offering Linux dual boot OS option on PS3. That is ultimate evidence to support massive difference between Sony Japan's GL/psgl/Cell CPU parallelism custom OS in PS3, vs. more standard Linux distro du jout. As a PC gamer, when I got a PS3 (approx. 4-5 months after PS3 launch) I got the model with PS hardware backwards compatibility - hallelujah, because I owned a bunch of old gen PS games). That PS3 felt like a very flexible console. I used home network video streaming capabilities from it as well, then it became a great Blu-ray device. Received some Blu-ray support updates that matched dedicated $899 BR players. (remember this was a 'fresh' era in Blu-ray discs). I remember really enjoying the PS3 capabilities and premium games, even if I still played 70/30 on PC vs. console in this generation. Games like Motorstorm and God of War on PS3 had a great feeling and presentation even compared to PC - and they tried crazy shit like "MAG" with 256-players. It was difficult to program for PS3 for optimized games, but as a total media device/OS - it was a very solid console environment.

All 4 6th gen are still my favorites, but thank you for bringing back to my memory the original Xbox 360 startup screen, I really miss it and it's original dashboard.

la más legendaria es la de la primera ps. Otra cosa es que por determinados factores le tengamos una nostalgia curiosa a algunas porque fueran intensas pero efímeras como la de DC xD

Que os sirva de ejemplo de que estas empresas estubieron evolucionando con cada consola y mejorando para tener una mejor experiencia en los juegos(nintendo), una puede ofrecerte graficos hoy en dia(playstation) y otra te ofrece disponibilidad a mas juegos(xbox).

Una aclaración, el Famicom Disk Sistem no era de CD's sino de disquetes , es decir soporte magnético, y el 64DD tipo Zip. Buen video 👏

Soy más de nintendo y ps antes que xbox pero eh de decir que me gustan mucho también las intros de xbox y que es la única que ah mantenido las intros con sus propias animaciones y sonido, ps desde la vita y aun con la ps5 y nintendo con la switch (que aunq en este video no lo muestra) hacen lo que la mayoría de celulares hacen una pantalla negro de fondo +logo de la marca o consola en blanco Sin animación.

I don't know why but the ps1 one seems creepy/sinister to me, maybe because it refers to horror games like Re and Silent Hill, also when I was a child I remember being shocked and scared to see Lara Croft falling from a great height and crashing to the ground, it scared me. In addition to the ketchup coming out of the characters, really a kind of horrible impression lol. Ps2 not so child anymore, already used to the weirdness of games. I don't understand why companies simplified logos and intros for the worse, ex: sony/windows, loses what makes it iconic.

Las de GameCube y la Playstation 1 son mis favoritas. De lejos las mejores. Las de NGC por la animación y la de PS1 por la música de fondo. Las de SEGA son bien cutres, solo la de Dreamcast es buena.
