Starting today, fans of the Legend of Zelda™: Breath of the Wild game can go back 100 years to experience the events of the new Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity game! To help Chris geek out over the prequel’s many guest appearances and other cool connections, he’s joined by Chiko from Nintendo Treehouse and Joe from the Nintendo of America social team. Both share their impressions of the game after beating it, without revealing any big spoilers. The group also revisits The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild in the Nintendo Power Game Club segment and shares the results of Legend of Zelda series fan polls. Plus, they take part in the Warp Zone game quiz and pick their most anticipated upcoming games for the Nintendo Switch™ system.

Link and Zelda were pretty cool in Super Smash Brothers Melee for the Nintendo GameCube. It would be cool if we could see those characters in that game duke it out in a competitive landscape, but I guess due to the pandemic it can’t happen, since that game didn’t have online in 2001. Oh well.

@@archedmash9501 in fact, when Nintendo sued the folks making the OG Game Genie, US courts sided with the Game Genie creators, stating that all they were doing was giving folks who paid money to Nintendo some extra replay value through their Game Genie carts. a situation very similar to what Slippi is doing for Melee. if the devs had the balls, they could theoretically argue that by supplying their patch, they are adding that same replay value to paying Nintendo customers at no additional cost to Nintendo themselves.

The only time I've played Hyrule Warriors was a Demo for the Switch. I'm part Philippino and Chinese who speaks English and Japanese and lives in America. But I'm not entirely that good with the Japanese language, I'm still learning.

@@slanderman92 That is my message to all the Nintendo players in existence. Nintendo may be unpredictable in some degree, but I like how they take game handling very seriously. I felt sorry for Nintendo having to censor third-party games so hard back in the late 80's to mid-90's due to concerns they were harming the development of video games after Atari's F-up with the video game industry back in the early 80's. I consider Nintendo "God's gift to the gamers." Out of Sony, Nintendo, and Microsoft, I choose Nintendo.

J a z Twitch abides to the US Copyright law since they’re based there. I’m guessing they took it down at the time due to the embargo not yet lifted in the US. It should be fine now.

Nintendo, please make sales via the Internet in Turkey. I want to buy Nintendo Switcher $ 300 but $ 300 is not anywhere as bad side of the Turkish lira in 2600 is equivalent to 2600 pounds if the business is good in Turkey. It does not correspond to 2600 liras. Moreover, when it comes to VAT and taxes, it corresponds to at least 3800 lira. Please make sales to Turkey at least Nintendo over the internet. Thanks (I am writing from the translation, the sentence may be inverted)

Breath of the Wild. Age of Calamity is a Warriors game. A Zelda themed one with a story written by the actual Zelda team, but it's still a Warriors game.
