I think it's such a cool feature that the 3DS maps focus on handheld games and Wii U maps focus on home console games. It really adds to their differences, and makes the maps more interesting for the people who have only ever owned the handheld devices like me.

It's a bit disappointing that the stages are going to be different on the different versions. I'm sure both will have great stages, but now this means I would have to get both to play on them all, and also because some of my favorite games are on consoles and so I won't get to paly on those stages if I only buy the 3DS one. :c

2:07 - 2:27 Considering Sakurai took time out of the Nintendo Developer Direct to mention how Samus has been changed visual-wise, I really hope she receives a change in attacks similar to Bowser. What I mean by this, is that Samus is very quick and agile in the Metroid games, yet she has felt slow and clunky in Smash Bros when you compare her in Smash, to the main Metroid games. Give her an actual fast fall that at least doubles her fall speed, since she was very vulnerable in the air on stages like Final Destination. Improve her grapple, it is nearly useless aside from her Z-Air, which I hope remains the same from Brawl. Give her bombs the ability to damage an enemy upon physical contact as opposed to timers like in Brawl, that greatly diminished their usefulness. Allow Samus to crawl by quickly turning into and out of the Morph Ball, she does this in the 2D games. Her up smash has been very unreliable since the first few attacks push the enemy away, knocking them out of range of the attack, leaving Samus vulnerable. Not to mention, only the fourth of the four hits actually launches enemies. Giving Samus' up smash a vacuum effect like Ganondorf's down smash, where if you get hit by one of the hits, you're going to be stuck in the attack until the end. Maybe make this attack escapable like Pikachu's down smash if you know what to do. The only other useful change I can think of, is allow Samus to charge her charge beam in the air like Donkey Kong or Mewtwo/Lucario could. One last thing, don't force players who want to play as Power Suit(PS) Samus to switch to Zero Suit(ZS) Samus when PS Samus players use their Final Smash. Giving ZS Samus a better Final Smash would be nice too(if she's in the game that is). If Samus was going to be changed, other than moving faster overall, these are the changes I think are necessary, since Samus is so nimble in Other M, the version their going for(hopefully the personality doesn't carry over too, but that's just me). If anyone can think of any other useful moveset changes or just constructive feedback(I feel like I'm asking a bit too much with that last one knowing KZfaq), feel free to answer back. Samus is my favorite Nintendo character and favorite video game character period. In Brawl no one could take her seriously in her Power Suit with all the nerfs from Melee, which is a load of crap. Samus is nearly defenseless outside of her suit, she admits this herself in Zero Mission along with her useless emergency pistol. I want my favorite character to make a glorious comeback in Smash 4, especially considering how unsure Other M left the franchise, anything at this point is a godsend. Keep up the good work Sakurai, I know you won't let us down!!!

For the 3ds since everyone has their own screen, they should allow everyone the adjust the camera to their liking. Like P1 could want to have the camera a bit closer to his character, and P2 may want to have it as default. Anyone agree?

I remember watching this video as a 8 year old and being so but so extremely hyped for this game, the wii u graphics look absolutely phenomenal back at those times, like I honestly couldn't believe how good the graphics looked and seeing it now, still looks pretty good and even for the 3ds version. I couldn't wait for the game to come out and the for the new characters.

Watching this in 2016 makes me realize how many differences the final product has compared to how the game looked when it was in development.

I hope the Mii will apear, with the differnt Miis you have on the system as costumes

Bring Mewtwo back.... and bring Waluigi in... and maybe make Diddy/Dixie Kong a team like Ice Climbers? Also, for the love of God, make Ganondorf GOOD. Let him use his damn sword. I love Captain Falcon, but Ganon should be totally different.

IMO, need "skins" Like instead of a Doctor Mario character, let it be one of his other skins and he just shoots out pills. Technically Peach does this with Daisy. But, we could probably see some fun ideas. Doctor Mario, other Samus suits, etc
