It's been over FIFTEEN years since the original Nintendogs came out, so I wanted to give the original a shot, and with one of my favorite dog breeds!
This Playthrough has no real goals, but I do want to try to have at least three dogs in the home.
In this video, we adopt our first puppy by the name of Spot (named after the dalmatian that was originally on this cartridge from 15 years ago) and teach him how to sit! We also play around with him and take him for his first walk!

crying rn. i used to love this game! totally one of my favorites. i miss being a 5 years old girl beging my brother to let me play it and promising to not save it so i dont ruin his story line

I remember having this WONDERFUL game on my Nintendo DS a long time ago - however, my copy was the Dachshund & Friends version. I recall one of the dogs I had was a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel (which can be unlocked along with other dog breeds). I do know one of the starter breeds in the game is a Beagle, and I also had a beagle IIRC. If I was still playing Nintendogs, I would have another beagle and name her Abby after the beagle my older sister used to have.

I lost my Nintendogs cartridge in 2007 when I was 6. Haven’t seen it’s gameplay since then so god damn this is nostalgic

I came back to hear the audio of the pup eating. It's just as I remember. Like a chompy Minecraft sound! Sounds nothing like eating, but I still love the game. Crazy to believe its going to be 16 years since I've played lab & friends for the very first time.

I still have my game and omg when I was a kid I WAS HUGE FAN OF DALMATIANS, so all 3 of my dogs were those! Named them Daisy, Lily & Shelby 😩🤍

Guys imagine if they make Nintendogs the movie (it will be based of marley and me) this will be about a family who lives with a really wild and untamed beagle named Eliot (named after sam Eliot) and will get a dalmatian and a boxer during the movie also therr can also be some references or mentions of other ds games heck peoples Nintendogs can make cameos during the film if you shows Nintendo your own 3 Nintendogs

I remember this version, I had one named Champ because well I always took him in agility trials and would win them lol. If I could reply this again, I’d probably change to having a German shepherd.

I still have this game and I have a little beagle who’s name is Sam tho I used to have a German shepherd who was a prodigy and rlly good at a lot of things Idk what happened to them but Sam is my most trained dog if y’all got any secret tricks I can teach Sam that would be great!

When I used to have my ds I played he dory one and this one but I have a Nintendo now I miss my ds I had so many diff pens for it and I miss it so much I’m gon cry omg. I need to ask my mom we’re it is even tho she’ll say “lex u have ya Nintendo and she probs won’t know anyway but it’s worth it I loved the dory one we’re u find shells idk but just talk to dory to oml I’m going to CRY.

imo I think I like the old nintendogs better than the nintendogs + cats version since the low poly dogs are cuter to me but both versions are good and I respect your opinion dw

I didn’t get a Dalmatian but I got a boy Beagle named Sam, I’ve been playing for such a long time I still love Sam❤❤❤ Sam is my most trained dog! 🤩 #1 Pup! .. I have no friends on my Nintendo :(
