Loving the remixed Ramuh theme from FF14

Dude first things first....you are a beast playing with any weapon. Really enjoyed your tonfa build video and this one,mostly because of the way you use and explain everything. Your builds are very well explained and clear as you take the time to go step by step throughout all the skill trees and explain why do you use that particular skill and show how to best make use of it. 10 out 10 to your vids...PD: you made fall for dual hatchets. Keep it up the good work

I just stumbled upon this build and it is surprisingly similar to mine. Some tips that come to mind: In order to fit Faster Movement (Enemy Killed) I'm using Toshiie's Abacus as second Accessory, this frees up the secondary weapon slot I also noticed that you haven't matched your Soul Cores to your Guardian Spirit; I suggest you do so (via Mortal Cores, infuse a blue Core in each Soul Core) to be able to use The Dragon's Echo (Shiftling Tree) to refund some Anima on use for example. Another use case would be running Hakutaku as secondary for additional damage. When dealing with a gank squad I'm also very fond of Caltrops, you can drop them really fast all things considering and it allows you to run around your opponents even more efficiently while the get staggered left and right. Lastly where my build differs a bit is that I'm also running Tonfa's, Extraction Talisman and a decent amount of Extended Yokai Shift in order to shift quite frequently. Since I'm running Life Recovery (Amrita Absorption) I can easily burst heal myself with the Tonfa's while breaking the enemy's Ki. Once broken I shift to grapple to get a huge boost in Anima too. Quick FYI: Your Yokai Abilities have a separate independent gauge while in Yokai Shift, this gauge is persistent meaning if you build Anima during your first shift you can spend it during your second. All in all this really isn't necessary if you're willing to spam Omnyo but I think Yokai Shift is a underapriciated mechanic so I'd highly recommend people give it a second try. Phantom's kit also synergies very well with Hatchets ranged play style, you can even hold Triangle to charge a throw which builds a good amount of Anima to boot. Edit: Grammer.

I have an Idea for a build, it's a regen build that I found means you can heal faster than bosses damage you. 50 magic, 30 constitution, everything else optional, make sure you have the stats for shrine maiden gear. Equip the clan that gives life on purification, and these four talismans: Life leech, Steel, Devigorate and Rejuvenation. You will heal at approximately 100 per second with rejuvenation, now buff yourself and debuff the boss. Every purification gives +400 health, and incoming damage is massively decreased. Enjoying your near invinciblity, and if you desperately need health, just purify, or fight the enemy :)

Now I'm torn between this and your assassin build. This is also my first run through of the game so I know I won't be able to probably have either build complete by the end of it, maybe.

How much of a difference does the attack bonus magic stat on your hatchets make? I have Urn Splitter + 3 with the same stats but that, same build but it do siginificantly less damage with the hatchets

The attack bonus should be a- and you should the other set onmyo warriors for the damage bonus magic power and 3 peices of genie sitting at 916 magic power

Answering about the flips: the skill is called Advancing Storm Skill... he does it by running laterally and holding square

To me it looks like it doesn't even matter with what build you play it always looks like you're wrecking stuff. No matter what build i do i always die the first time i encounter any enemy be it a boss or some random mob.
