**REEEEE, I uploaded the raw without commentary by mistake, so this is WITH commentary, will delete the original in due time.**
Easy farm with as much damage without having to replace all gear for a dedicated luck build, to help builds using tonfa, sword, dual sword, and axe that don't have enough dmg to take them down easily.
I'm using a slight variation of my Devastator tonfa build to take down marobashi guys in one hit using the new paralytic groundfire, and some extra help of other set bonuses for damage. NOT a luck build, simply a quick solution for farming till you get enough gear to go all in on some build or a lw luck build!

*EXTRA NOTES*
-Forgot to mention, dump all your extra gear into your storage so you have as much free space in inventory to farm as much using the 2nd method.
-I still had tokugawa clan which I forgot to show. Since I'm on patch 1.14 I can't change clan without updating, but you'd either use silver tongue clan for clan for more luck, or using your normal dmg clan like kuroda for extra damage.
-When doing the explosion from tonfa gun, spam triangle after square since sometimes the the blast part doesn't come out, small window.
-Also, as mentioned in devastator build video, get tenacity to live the leeching talisman.

Had to re-upload since uploaded wrong version, so stuff might actually make sense now xD Sorry about that. One update though, I just figured out Tonfa gun/devastation (the combo) is actually 3 hits, with the blast being last. All this time in the video, I was hitting the first two. So you actually want to stand even FURTHER back (by a bit), to hit with the last blast part. I did 72k now, even using daiba and ito, so its a bit more dmg then the double numbers popping up. You'll figure out the distance when you play/test with it. Also, if you NEED the extra dmg, you can lay two mines about 3ft apart, lure the guy in one, blast them, then go behind the other and they'll step in that and immediately get paralyzed again. Considering you're only fighting 4 masters for the 2nd method, you have 9 paralytics, you'll have enough to do so if your dmg is that bad or go with swallowtail instead of your main set for more luck. Edit: Also you can do this against Kojiro (ganryu) for an easy ethereal odachi, probably 2nd best to bloodstain, maybe even better given dash/evasion attack's need to hit first for atk x2 so the bonus dmg bloodstain gave is meh, better to have extra slot.

Found the tonfas quite meh to begin with too but then i rolled the yellow effect that nullify the enemy guard for this weapon. Since, i love them. Combo are not stopped by the enemy guard anymore (devastation works everytime) and with some cca ki reduction and demon dance, you can go crazy with combos (some melee pierce guard from Bisha helps too). Anyways, thanks a lot for all your Nioh videos !

I usually use tempest as it is the easiest parrying technique. I have final blow damage on my katana, carnage and weakness talisman. With a little bit of a practice you destroy them even if the critical hit isn't lethal.

if youre using the iai quickdraw on katanas, when you hit them from behind have a little distance between you and the guy. i think it doesnt count damage from behind when you are close to him

yah my bad haha and yah they're fun, but tonfa's looking like the weakest wpn next to spear unfortunately. the blast is great, but there's many problems with it, and there's a mod that completely disables it, so it's not reliable for some stages (like marobashi, which this method works around). sword icon with x on it is the debuff i'm talking about. GL on the sword build tho!

Great build as always, you're my go to Nioh you tuber so thanks for all your effort. A quick question, why do you value weaken armor (torso) so much?

significant dmg increase. Haven't tested quite the increase, but its noticeable and easy to apply. For tanky builds you might want weaken melee, which similarly is significant dmg reduction. With nullify being a thing however, enemy dmg is sorta irrelevant, so torso is better, unless you're some sword build that favors final blow.

trail of the master method still works great even in wotw (arguably better since you can also get ethereals). I just immediately pick up prayer beads/magatamas/yasakani's then dip out, restart the mission, and repeat until I get the desired effects.

patch 1.14 three souls mission gave 3 crux crystals, so 300million each 1 minute run. In patch 1.15 they nerfed the hell out of it, so its not possible anymore, but that's how I did it, besides just being around 330 anyway before dlc. Idk what the best farming method is in Wise yet,

Now in 1.16 getting to 400 is easy. I went from 300 to 350 pretty quickly in 1.16.

He only put weakness on them. Those symbols are the enemies BUFFS alot of enemies in Way of Demon and up have buffs and all bosses are buffed

one question though, how come your health not depleted until 0 and die when you use leeching?is it because your body stat is 99?

tenacity on armor, must have for any build. You won't die from recurrent damage from status effect, so things like poison, fire, or in this case, leeching.

1st? Btw, It works, it's what I usually do when I need to farm, kill all the masters, loot them all, and die on the last one, you keep all the looted stuff and the ochoko bonus until you decide to finish the mission by killing the last one. Easy, nice and fast 😁👍

I can two shot the bosses on this mission with my build on wotw, need just a little more dmg, then I can one shot :) btw the grind in this game is insane

With saisetsu i am currently getting 101m per run on way of the demon. How is it you are getting way less on wise difficulty?

This was pre-amrita buff, before patch 1.15 or 1.16 came out (one of them boosted amrita earned on 500+ missions by a HUGE amount), and also, I didn't use sake, nor have amrita earned on pretty much anything. Context. With proper amrita farming stuff, you can now get 2 billion+ (there's literally tons of videos after the patch came out) from wise marobashi. This was how bad amrita was in Wise before the patch.

the tenacity stops you from dying from damage over time effects (fire, poison and ALSO your own leeching talismans)

Will salamandra be able to kill them? If it wasnt for my ethereal boots giving me 2x damage from purification i feel like salamandra would not have made it to omi region so far, let alone kill the 5 dudes. What do you think?

idk, most likely you'll kill them. I'm still working on a different character, but odachi/lw build will be after that. with atkx2 after evasion every lw build would be strong. Evasion nullify was well, but going to have to roll one of those on wpn I believe since only arms and wpn can get evasion/dash, boots purification's pretty situational.

Not this setup exactly. My devastor build? if that then yah I already beat everything to unlock omi and then some. Some bosses didn't go down easy, devastator isn't an OP build, I think its just tonfa's are rather weak (if that's what you're using). I believe you can shoot sakon as soon as you run in, for a final blow or Xplosion, then go to town. Enku dash in immortal, blast, run back, repeat.

Ive noticed on some of my ethereals there is a nullify weapon affect or w.e, that leads me to believe it nullifies the bosses ability to nullify your ability. Nullify nullify nullify.

what pieces? only certain effects roll on certain pieces (ex gloves can only roll dash/evasion atkx2/nullify dmg besides wpns, the other armors can't. they have some different ones like boots purification or chest zero ki)

PWARGaming nullify weakening (weapon). Maybe that just means for weakining talismans.

Ah, yah just rolled one on a different setup, 29.9%. hmm, is there a weakening debuff from enemies for other pieces of gear? I supposed when we apply it to them it is a gear piece with an x on it, so perhaps that's what it does, 30% chance of preventing your wpn from weakening. Still, 30% is pretty low chances of saving you from one hit. you'd also have to lose dmg to get it (if you were to use ethereal gunstiks). Tonfa's stay losing. But actually that might be an important stat for every build/wpn now, since disabling all its effects disables set bonuses and all the mods on the wpn, which is a lot of dmg lost, and quite a few foe have it in way of the wise. I guess you can ignore the particular ones that do have it as a work around.

Should be yah, but clashes with ccd/skill dmg soooo you have to choose between the three. Perhaps with ethereals i might actually be easy to test now since they roll max or near max stats easily (unless you soul match them)

I don't think so, if not it's a VERY low chance. Kill all enemies before oda+yasuke in return of the gourd for better non-master set drops. The revenant guys in gourd have pretty nice drop rate. When oda+yasuke appear, just die to them to restart mission again faster, then repeat. I would just try to kill the actual enemies you want the set from, kigetu's ethereals are pretty easy to get. sanada/sarutobi will be tough tho.

yasakani magatama counts as an extra piece for every gear you have equipped. So I can wear one piece of a set bonus, yet get 2 piece bonus. I can wear 3, yet get 4 piece bonus. Pretty mandatory for builds. they drop divine or ethereal only

I think Tonfas are fine, it's just that they fall off hard in WotW. I still do good damage with the boom sticks, but I'll only be using the Tonfas till I get some Ethereal gear and start working on new builds. I think Team Ninja needs to add more hit stun on Tonfas or remove the no boom boom debuff. EDIT: We don't need weak buffs and weapons if Team Ninja is making this harder and at times unfair every DLC.

yah way of the demon I was having a blast with them from testing, felt great. Then I got to way of the wise, and...hoo boy. Some things went smooth, some things were...rage inducing. All human battles are pretty much hell for tonfa gun, since nearly all of them have the wpn debuff. dmg for gun is great, but its still not more powerful than sotc or titanic strength or iai, or moonlit snow, etc etc so tonfa still needs a buff overall on all fronts. Farming with the build for the next build was hell for me xD (since ethereals. and while THIS farm is great, ultimately if you plan to use old sets, you need to farm the actual bosses for most likely chance). So for scion ethereal pieces for example, I had to beat sanada over and over and over with this setup in this vid. one shot in wotd, well, now, could only do about half his health. Then just used the stairs to cheese him with paralytic groundfire and blast him again a couple times. But its not a smooth experience at all.

Why is your gear so weak to mine when i only have level 150 gear and my multipliers range high as 700 and 900 and my stats below range to numbers in the 10k... I'm so confused...

hm? Barely any divine +lvl maybe? I don't think gear lvl adds too much dmg/defense, divine lvls seemed to add more. You'd have to be more specific for me to say. If you mean you're can output more dmg, then show me your secrets senpai! :p

have you unlocked it before in past difficulties? If so, you need to beat demon king revealed in omi region. That'll unlock all the bonus stages we got from patch 1.06, which includes marobashi.

Have you open them before? If not, you have to beat all missions in tokai region I believe, that will unlock the dojo masters, then you beat sword dojo and spear dojo. that unlocks two masters mission. Beat that, and you get marobashi (most likely). If you've already unlocked marobashi before, you have to beat demonking revealed in whatever difficulty you're on.

you can forge any armor you have something called tenacity forge it on 1 armor is enough

yah i got like a 256, probably from dlc 2 fighting. Its definitely from reds. Just...remember what TN did...they make everything sorta of irrelevant each dlc so grinding for maybe 30-40 atk isn't worth it imo when new dlc will just further increase the lvl. Marobashi only drops 250's I believe.

I was never into games like this during the last 25 years of my life. Started gaming around 5, I'm 30 now. But I tried Bloodborne because a friend told me I would enjoy it because the story doesn't matter if you just want to play a fun game. BB I fell in love with. The dungeons I liked a lot and kept going and actually went to NG+ for the first time ever in any game. I then tried DS3 and loved it. Then went DS2 and then obviously loved that. So I looked forward to Nioh despite it being fairly different from the souls games. I love Nioh. It's a blast despite most of the levels on each stage varying only slightly by starting you in a different spot. The one thing I truly HATE about these games....is how complicated it is to get anywhere near maximizing your dps and defenses. Add in the Japanese names and references and I'm almost completely lost. But hey, by struggling a little more it makes each encounter more tense than the last.

I don't get it. I have luck, equipment and item drop rate skill in every armor + yasakani with luck and yato mirror and luckbringer talisman. Guardian spirits are also for luck. I have luck +382 and still maximum 2 ethereal items per marobashi run. What am I doing wrong?

just luck bro, rng. Alternatively you can try return of the gourd. Not beat the bosses, but with this same setup, Those revenant like guys actually have high ethereal drop rate it seems, got quite a few farming there. Drop paralytic groundfire, they parahax, go behind, blow them up. Also less likely for masters armor sets to show up so better chance at getting odder stuff like tata or kingo or whatever. But yah sometimes I'll get a dry run for marobashi, very rare to get 3+ drops. Granted each run takes bout a 1 minute so, if you look at it as 10 ethereals every 5 minutes, that's not too bad.

tenacity prevents dot effects from killing you, so leeching, poison, and fire.

beating demon king revealed unlocks all the bonus stages (from patch 1.06), if you've unlocked marobashi before.

aside from what I already said, beat sword+spear dojo, then two masters, which unlocks marobashi. The dojo's are unlocked by beating all missions in tokai region I think, or all missions in the first 4 regions. Try the former first.

Build suggestion: something non situational that you could use do viable damage in WotW. It'd probably get lots of attention (plus I really freakin need it :'(

Think everyone needs it, but its not as easy, especially when you have so many choices now and testing becomes a longer process. I pretty much finished the next build, but have to test its power after I get a certain piece I'm hunting for. So far it seems better than tonfa from just straight farming from bosses to get the upgrades I need. Should be up in a few days ;)
