Can you do the first DC 10 disaster which was American airlines 96. Faulty work for closing the cargo door blew it off. Everyone on the Plane survived with heroic efforts of the captain and flight crew. Though there were mostly injuries from shrapnel when a decompression which tore skin, the plane managed to land on a runway and all crew and passengers were evacuated. Some people saw a cargo door fly into their backyard. And a coffin.

erm actually, that was american airlines flight 191, which crashed on seconds after liftoff because of improper training of the pilots and that during maitenance, the engine was not properly checked, leaving to a metal fatigue crack in the engine pylons to get bigger and bigger until it just simply snapped on on that fateful day. the plane crash that the person above wrote about was american flight 96, which barely managed to make an emergency landing because the rear hydraulic systems were cut off since when the cargo door blew open due to explosive decompression, the floor collapsed, but due to the heroic actions of the flight crew, they safley managed to land.

@@mythicscientific7326 i mean yes. but there were two flights 253. and none of them crashed due to poor maintenance. one crashed due to fire and second one cause of CFIT. and the second killed 25 not 61. so what flight 253 he did, i have no clue

Can yo do Uruguayan Air Force Flight 571? On October 12 the twin-engined Fairchild turboprop left Carrasco International Airport, carrying 5 crew members and 40 passengers. In addition to club members, friends, family, and others were also on board, having been recruited to help pay the cost of the plane. In turbulent and snowy weather, the pilot mistook where the runway was, and the plane crashed into a mountain. The mountain sheered off both wings and the rest of the plane crashed into a remote valley of Argentina near the Chilean border. Of the 45 people aboard the plane, only 16 survived the ordeal. It took the rescue team over two months to find the missing plane, and in that time the survivors ran out of food, forcing them to resort to cannibalism.
