YG too authentic. Compton as Compton gets. It hit different when someone from the other team comes to speak on how great of a man Nip was! This was real, raw emotion, YG had to hold back & it’s clear.

He spoke from the heart and people mourn differently. I think when he named members of his family is to show others he knew him personally and not just as business partners. Grew up in different gangs but they are men first who respected each other and talked about things that mattered. Nipsey’s legacy and Marathon will continue...who is next to carry the torch?

The oddly beautiful thing about Nipsey death is that it everyone hard, but made people come together, which was his overall mission. Black, Latinos, Whites, Crips, Bloods, West coast, East coast, down south, it didn't matter. That outpouring of love and respect was nationwide, if not worldwide. Let's keep that energy going to be the best versions of ourselves, to give back, to create opportunities, to love our families, to love those outside of our hoods and colors with that same energy Nipsey had!! Much respect to Nipsey the Great!! No one else couldn't have done that!! I hope he sees the effect his life had on the world from above!! Peace and love to everyone!!!🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾💙💙💙

@Lovely_Day I'm sorry let me explain what i meant.... I mean the actions he was trying to take before his death such as trying to end gang violence, meeting with the police to voice his opinions on how to help and buying up his block (i would have like to see what he would have done when he finished). I know you probably want to focus on how he started but id rather focus on how he finished... oh and him trying to put that documentary together to help people.... he didn't have to try to do any of that but he did..... so that's what i mean...
@dion68535 жыл бұрын
@Lovely_Day i don't glorify it either... I'm a police officer. I see young dudes all the time going to jail over nothing. I'm just saying i wish he could have been around longer to make a lasting impact on more kids... I actually didn't start listening to nipsey until last year but i mainly play one song (hustle and motivate)... after watching some of his videos and listening to him talk he seemed like he could have help people open their eyes and avoid throwing their life away doing silly stuff...
