I really came here to saay that Pure O braiding gel is the best!!!! Free of alcohols and does not flake/turn hair white once it dries. Allows the scalp to still breathe since it's a water based natural product. ❤

Thank you!!! I am not a professional braider, but I learned a lot with this video. I am growing my hair out for the first time in my life and learning to braid the longer it gets. I'd say I'm making my way from beginner to intermediate rn and this really helped a ton! I am definitely going to try to hairspray instead of mouse bc I am a girly with curly roots and I'm sure that'll help a lot.

For those perfectionists like myself, you can see a couple of hairs in the middle braids that didn't get completely straightened. Most of the time I know that it's just my eyes seeing everything and no one would even notice it... but this was a great style and I thank you for showing me a different way to do this.

Stiching is just the technique it can used on braids going many directions.

My problem is the spacing at the back of the head. For some reason it ends up leaving one braid not able to go all way down at the back

Start in the middle and pre-part. This way you can map out the style and see where everything is going lay before you start braiding. 😊

@Nique Lynn. Am new to brqiding (professionally). Tell me...just how dyu deal with clients who arrive and u begin braiding, then in between they let u know how they gotta be somewhere in 2 hours when u just 1 hour into braiding? And u doing braids that to be neat need about 5hrs???? Am so pissed coz 3 clients have done this so far.

Hey I totally understand how frustrating that can be. If you are not using a booking site this is probably a good time to implement one. In your booking site you can tell exactly how much time each style will take and this way your clients can plan accordingly. Or you can tell them before you start so everyone is on the same page 🙂
